Objective:The clinical efficacy of probiotics(Clostridium Butyricum Powder,Live)as an adjuvant treatment of bronchial asthma in children was compared with the clinical efficacy of standard treatment methods for bronchial asthma in children, and then the clinical efficacy of probiotics in adjuvant treatment of bronchial asthma in children was evaluated,so as to provide reference for clinicians to take better treatment options for bronchial asthma in children. Methods:A total of 106 children with bronchial asthma who met the inclusion criteria during the period from July 2019 to July 2020 were selected and randomly divided into probiotics group and control group, with 53 cases in each group. The control group adopted the standard treatment plan(Terbutaline Sulphate Solution for Nebulization,Budesonide Suspension for Inhalation,Montelukast Sodium Chewable Tablets),probiotics group added Clostridium butyricum powder on the basis of blank control group(500mg/time,TID).After 2 months of treatment, observe and compare the changes in asthma control, blood IgE and EOS levels, and lung function-related indicators(FEV1,FEV1/FVC,PEF)before and after treatment in the two groups..Results:1.Asthma control: the level of asthma control(good control / partial control /uncontrolled)in probiotics group(37/14/2)was better than that in control group(26/23/4),and the difference was significant(Z= 2.167,P<0.05).After treatment, the C-ACT score of the two groups increased(P<0.05),but the probiotics group changed significantly(23.44±3.54 vs 21.63±3.34,t= 2.707,P<0.05).2.After treatment, the serum IgE level(IU/m L)and EOS level(%)in both groups were significantly decreased(P<0.001),but the decrease in probiotics group was more significant, with IgE level(113.14±48.35 vs 140.07±58.48,t= 2.584,P<0.05)and EOS % level(2.33±1.25 vs 2.82±1.14,t= 2.109,P<0.05).3.After treatment, the pulmonary function(FEV1,FEV1 / FVC,PEF)in the two groups were significantly increased(probiotics group P<0.001;control group P<0.05),and the probiotics group improved significantly,FEV1(2.14±0.75 vs 1.86±0.64,t=2.068,P<0.05),FEV1 / FVC(90.24±12.35 vs 85.29±12.24,t= 2.073,P<0.05),PEF(3.63±1.49 vs 3.07±1.25,t= 2.096,P<0.05).4.After treatment, the serum CD4 + and CD4 + / CD8 + in the two groups were lower than those before treatment(P<0.001),and CD8 + was significantly higher than that before treatment(probiotics group P<0.001;control group P<0.05).There was no significant difference in CD4 +(32.79±4.43 vs 34.54±5.36)between the two groups(t= 1.832,P>0.05),but the CD8 + in the probiotics group was significantly increased(26.4 ± 5.7 vs 24.19 ± 5.34,t= 2.060,P < 0.05),and the CD4 + / CD8 + was significantly decreased(1.3±0.33 vs 1.49±0.41,t= 2.628,P<0.05).5.After treatment, the pulmonary function(FEV1,FEV1 / FVC,PEF)in the two groups were significantly increased(probiotics group P<0.001;control group P<0.05),and the probiotics group improved significantly,FEV1(2.14±0.75 vs 1.86±0.64,t=2.068,P<0.05),FEV1 / FVC(90.24±12.35 vs 85.29±12.24,t= 2.073,P<0.05),PEF(3.63±1.49 vs 3.07±1.25,t= 2.096,P<0.05).Conclusion:Probiotics(Clostridium Butyricum Powder,Live)were added on the basis of standard treatment for children with bronchial asthma. The asthma control and C-ACT score, asthma inflammatory level(IgE and EOS %)and pulmonary function(FEV1,FEV1 / FVC,PEF)of children were significantly improved,at the same time it can also regulate the body immunity, with a good curative effect. At present, probiotic adjuvant therapy for bronchial asthma shows its clinical value,It may play a role by regulating the body immunity, but the specific mechanism is still unclear. We believe that before recommending probiotics for allergic asthma,a large number of randomized controlled trials and prospective cohort studies are still needed to seek more evidence.
