Objective:To explore the intervention effect of acceptance commitment therapy on anxiety and depressionin perioperative patients with cervical cancer,to provide basis for psychological intervention of patients with cervical cancer in perioperative period. Methods:We select 81 perioperative patients with cervical cancer who met the inclusion criteria in a department of gynecology inpatients of a tertiary hospital in Nanchang from May 2019 to January 2021.By tossing a coin, the patients were divided into groups according to the ward,in which the patients in the third ward of obstetrics and gynecology were the control group(n=41),and patients in the fourth ward of obstetrics and gynecology were the experimental group(n=40).The control group was given routine nursing intervention, and the experimental group was given acceptance and commitment therapy intervention on the basis of the control group. The intervention was performed on the second day after admission, the first day before surgery, the second day after surgery and the fifth day after surgery.Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS),Self-rating Depression Scale(SDS),Acceptance and Action Questionnaire(AAQ-Ⅱ)and Herth Hope Index(HHI)were used to evaluate the anxiety, depression, empirical avoidance and hope of patients before intervention(admission day),after intervention(the 6th day after surgery)and one month after intervention.Results:1.Comparison of general information between the two groups:There were no significant differences in age, marital status, education level, occupation, number of children, residence and other general information between the two groups(P > 0.05).2.Comparison between the two groups before intervention: there was no significant difference in the scores of anxiety, depression, empirical avoidance and hope between the experimental group and the control group(P > 0.05).3.Intra-group comparison between the two groups:after the intervention and one month after the intervention, the differences in the scores of anxiety and depression of patients in the experimental group and the control group were statistically significant compared with before the intervention(P < 0.05);There were significant differences in the scores ofempirical avoidance, the total score of hope level and the scores of each dimension in the experimental group compared with before intervention(P <0.05),but there was no significant difference in the control group(P > 0.05).4.Comparison between the two groups after the intervention: after the intervention, the total scores of anxiety, depression, experiential avoidance and hope of the experimental group were significantly higher than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference in the attitude dimension score of maintaining close relationship between the experimental group and the control group(P > 0.05);One month after the intervention, there were significant differences in the total scores of anxiety, depression, empirical avoidance, hope and each dimension between the two groups(P< 0.05).Conclusion:Acceptance commitment therapy can effectively improve the anxiety and depression of perioperative patients with cervical cancer, reduce the empirical avoidance and improve their hope level through six core treatment processes:acceptance, cognitive defusion, contacting the present moment,self-as-context,clear value and commitment action.
