| Organ transplantation technology is a tremendous achievement made by humans in the field of life science.Since Academician Wu Jieping completed the first kidney transplant operation in the 1960 s,organ transplantation has gradually become the main way to treat patients with organ failure in China.Although the clinical practice of organ transplantation started late in China,it has made rapid progress. At this stage,it has developed into a leading organ transplantation country in the world. The level of transplantation technology, the number of transplant recipients and the survival rate are high. Therefore,China currently has a large demand for organ donors.Nowadays, all parts of the world are facing shortages of donor organs and prominent contradictions between organ supply and demand. However, the imbalance of organ supply and demand in China is more serious. In 2015,after the system of abolishing death row organs as a source of organ transplantation was clearly abolished in China, the main source of organ donors was organ donation. But the rate of organ donation behind China is low in the world, and the ratio of supply and demand of transplanted organs is 1:30 far below the developed countries in Europe and America, the shortage of organs is very serious. This study aims to understand the status of cadaveric organ donation about Chinese citizens and attitudes towards organ donation through literature research, metaanalysis, comparative analysis and other methods, and explore the reasons for the imbalance of supply and demand in organ transplantation in China. In addition, many countries and regions have advanced experience in the construction of organ donation systems, legal systems, culture and other aspects, which are worthy of reference and reference.Based on China’s cultural background, this article draws on advanced experience, and proposes targeted countermeasures and suggestions from two perspectives: management and law.The management perspective focuses on the discussion of problems in organ donation mechanisms. The legal perspective discusses the lack of legal protection at this stage. With a view to promoting the further development of organ donation in China. In this study, the meta-analysis method was used to combine a large amount of data to obtain more representative results.A total of 26 high-quality documents related to Chinese citizens’ organ donation wishes were included, with a total sample size of 24,397 people, involving 17 provinces in eastern, central, and western China. The period of publication of the documents was from 2004 to 2019.Through meta-analysis,it is concluded that Chinese citizens’ willingness to donate behind organs is 41%(95% CI = 35%-47%),subgroup analysis shows that the western region(46%)is higher than the eastern region(45%)and the central region(38%).The group’s willingness to donate organs(44%)in the 2016-2019 publication period was significantly higher than that in the 2011-2015(39%)and 2004-2010 publication groups(33%).Sensitivity analysis shows that the results of the study are relatively stable, and the funnel plot suggests that there is a small possibility of publication bias.Through research,we can see that the willingness of Chinese citizens to donate organs is still lower than that of foreign countries. There are still many problems and challenges in the work system, legal system, and cultural construction of organ donation in China. This study suggests establishing a domestic organ donation culture, establishing a reasonable compensation mechanism, rationally distributing organ donation resources, simplifying the organ donation process system, establishing a flexible presumption model, conducting organ donation coordinator human resource management, improving the organ donation legal system, and promoting brain death legislation,Strengthen the responsibilities of the competent administrative department. With a view to let domestic citizens generally understand organ donation and realize the important social significance of organ donation, participate autonomously in organ donation volunteer activities, increase willingness to donate, and promote the development of organ donation work, thereby saving the lives of more patients. |
