Objective:In this paper, medical students and medical staff in school are taken as the research objects, and the knowledge, attitude and willingness of medical students and medical staff about organ donation and their cognition about organ donation rights are mainly understood. To analyze the factors that affect organ donation, explore the path analysis of knowledge, attitude and willingness, and compare the differences of rights cognition between medical students and medical staff,so as to put forward relevant suggestions to improve their cognition and willingness to donate organs and provide basis for medical staff to better serve the cause of organ donation in the future. Methods:A convenient sampling method was used to conduct an online questionnaire survey of medical students and on-the-job medical staff.A total of 414 valid questionnaires were collected from medical students and 546 medical staff. The contents of the questionnaire mainly include basic information,"Organ Donation Knowledge,Attitude and Willingness Scale",and organ donation related legal rights cognition questionnaire.Microsoft Excel 2010 was used for data sorting, and IBM SPSS 25.0 was used for data processing and statistical analysis.Results:(1)A total of 414 medical students and 546 medical staff were investigated. The scores of organ donation knowledge of TCM students and medical staff were 8.00(7.00~8.00)and8.00(7.00~9.00)respectively.(2)The results of the investigation on the attitude towards organ donation show that the average score of medical students’ attitude towards organ donation is 4.68(4.09~5.23),among which the scores in the dimensions of agreeing with the value of organ donation, disagreeing with the value of organ donation, and preventing organ donation are 5.67(5.17~6.17),3.75(3.00~4.25)and 4.67(3.83~5.25)respectively.The total score of medical staff’s attitude towards organ donation is(4.65±0.95),and the same scores in three dimensions are(5.83±1.19),(3.51±1.36)and(4.84±1.32)respectively.(3)The investigation on the willingness to donate organs showed that the medical students scored 2.00(2.00~3.25),while the medical staff scored 2.00(2.00~2.00),and the willingness to donate was relatively low.Among them,41(9.9%)medical students said they were unwilling to donate, and 25(6.0%)had signed the consent card for organ donation.112(20.5%)medical staff indicated that they were unwilling to donate, and 23(4.2%)had signed an organ donation consent card.(4)The factors influencing medical students’ knowledge of organ donation are education level, professional category and monthly disposable income; The factors that affect the attitude of organ donation are the degree of understanding of organ donation procedures and organ donation knowledge; The factors influencing the willingness to donate organs are marital status, understanding of organ donation procedures and attitude towards organ donation(P<0.05).(5)The factors influencing medical staff’s knowledge of organ donation are educational level; The factors that affect the attitude of organ donation are monthly income and the attitude of registering organ donation when applying for driver’s license; The factors influencing the willingness to donate organs are education level, blood donation experience and the attitude of registering the willingness to donate organs when applying for a driver’s license(P<0.05).(6)The scores of medical students’ willingness to donate organs were positively correlated with the scores of attitude towards organ donation, dimensions of recognizing donation and dimensions of hindering organ donation(r=0.244,P<0.01;r=0.199,P<0.01;r=0.223,P<0.01),which was not related to the score of organ knowledge. There is no significant correlation between the scores of medical staff’s willingness to donate organs and their knowledge, attitude and scores in all dimensions(r=0.083,r=0.056,r=0.018,r=0.052,r=0.052,P>0.05).(7)Among the respondents,373(90.1%)medical students and 476(87.2%)medical staff thought it was reasonable to give financial compensation to organ donors.72.2%of medical students and 67.4%of medical staff think that the right to physical integrity will not be violated; There are 274(66.2%)medical students, and 452(82.8%)medical staff know the range of recipients of living organ donation.Medical students and medical staff have a good understanding of the right to informed consent;254(61.4%)medical students and 450(82.4%)medical staff think that the signed organ donation agreement can be revoked. They pay more attention to the reasons for avoiding "forced donation" and "induced donation" in the "double-blind" policy of privacy; Most medical students and medical staff think that the use of distribution right "should meet medical needs and follow the principles of fairness, justice and openness"(87.0%,91.4%),and "the government should set up a special organ distribution system to start the automatic distribution of donated organs"(66.9%,79.9%).Conclusions:(1)The knowledge of organ donation of medical students and medical staff is in the upper-middle level, and the knowledge of medical staff is better than that of medical students; The attitude of organ donation is positive; The willingness to donate organs is relatively low,and the willingness of medical staff to donate is lower than that of medical students.(2)Factors influencing medical students’ willingness to donate organs are age, marital status, monthly disposable income, understanding of organ donation procedures and attitude towards organ donation; The factors that affect the willingness of medical staff to donate organs are education level, blood donation experience, and willingness to register organ donation when applying for driver’s license.(3)There is a significant positive correlation between the knowledge of organ donation and the attitude towards organ donation, the dimension of recognizing the value of donation and the dimension of reasons that hinder organ donation. There is a positive correlation between the attitude towards organ donation, the dimension of recognizing the value of donation and the dimension of hindering organ donation.(4)The surveyed medical students and medical staff all support reasonable economic compensation, and suggest establishing a donation compensation system. We have a good understanding of the right of body integrity, informed consent and privacy of organ donation, but we need to improve our understanding of the right of revocation and the right of distribution of organ donation,so we need to strengthen the knowledge of protective rights such as revocation and distribution. |
