Present Situation And Countermeasure Study Of Healthy City Construction In Yichang

With the increasing proportion of urban population,rapid urbanization has become a trend in China and the world,and bringing a series of challenges to people’s health."healthy city" comes into and the construction of healthy city has become an important application of health promotion in urban construction.In October 2016,Yichang was recognized as one of the thirty eight "national healthy city construction pilot cities",which was the first batch in China and the only one in the province.Yichang municipal party committee and government attach great importance to healthy city construction.The fourteen data of “Health Indicators” from 2014 to 2017 were analyzed in five aspects which including healthy environment,healthy society,healthy population,healthy culture and healthy industry in Yichang.The data shows that the ecological environment has improved continuously,The public health level has been significantly improved,Health resources has increased,The registered urban unemployment rate remained low,Steady progress has been made in building an integrated smart healthy city.Though it has made these progress,there are new problems and challenges in the exploration process,which are embodied in the following aspects,Coordination among departments and industries have not yet fully formed synergy,The awareness and participation of the whole society need to be strengthened,Life expectancy for men needs to rise,The service ability for special groups is insufficient,The number and quality of general practitioner needs to be improved,The health impact assessment mechanism is not sound.It should puts forward the following Suggestions,such as The whole society shall participate in the promotion of national health literacy,Targeted focus on the special groups,Accelerate team building,and Strengthen monitoring and evaluation.As one of the 38 healthy city pilots,Yichang actively promotes the healthy city work,which not only provides the basis for the next round of construction,but also leads and strengthens the practice of healthy city construction in other cities,and provides reference for other regions to promote the construction of healthy China.
