| Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Kuifukang decoction retention enema in the treatment of ulcerative proctitis which belongs to damp-heat type of lager intestine,and preliminarily study the difference of therapeutic effect between Kuifukang decoction and Xilei powder in order to explore its clinical application value.Methods:The trial was a randomized controlled trial.The cases were from the patients with ulcerative proctitis which belongs to damp-heat type of lager intestine who were treated in the Department of Proctology,Henan Province hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from September 2018 to November 2019.A total of 68 patients who met the test standard were collected,and they were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group according to the method of randomized number table.There were 34 cases in each group.The treatment group was given Kuifukang decoction,the control group was given Xilei powder,and the two groups were treated with enema through anus retention for 7 days.There is three courses of the treatment in total.The main observation indexes are TCM syndrome integral,Baron score,Mayo score,total curative effect,TCM syndrome curative effect,clinical effective rate,clinical remission rate,erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR)and C-reactive protein(CRP).Results:1.In the aspect of total curative effect,the efficiency of the treatment group was91.2%,and that of the control group was 70.6%.The difference of total curative effect between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.In the aspect of TCM syndrome integral,there was significant difference of total integral between the two groups after treatment,and the treatment group was superior to the control group.The treatment group had more advantages in improving diarrhea,abdominal pain,tenesmus and anal burning than the control group(P <0.05).In the aspect of TCM syndrome curative effect,the effective rate of the treatment group was 94.1%,and that of the control group was 76.5%.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.In the aspect of Baron score,there was significant difference between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05),and the difference of the two groups was not statistically significant after treatment(P>0.05).4.In the aspect of Mayo score,the score of the two groups after treatment was significantly lower than that before treatment(P < 0.05).The treatment group was better than the control group in reducing Mayo score,and the difference of the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).5.In the aspect of clinical effectiveness,the clinical effective percentage of the treatment group was 85.3%,and that of the control group was 61.8%.The difference of the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).6.In the aspect of clinical remission,the clinical remission rate of the treatment group was 32.4%,and that of the control group was 20.6%.The difference of the two groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05).7.In the aspect of inflammatory indexes ESR and CRP,the indexes of the two groups decreased obviously after treatment than before treatment(P < 0.05).The treatment group was significantly better than the control group in reducing inflammatory indexes ESR and CRP,and the differences of ESR and CRP between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).8.No obvious adverse reactions occurred in the two groups during the treatment period.Conclusion:Compared with Xilei powder,Kuifukang decoction retention enema has accurate clinical effect and more advantages of total curative effect in the treatment of ulcerative proctitis which belongs to damp-heat type of lager intestine.It is specifically reflected in the improvement of Mayo score,TCM syndrome curative effect,clinical effective rate,ESR,CRP and TCM syndromes which include diarrhea,abdominal pain,tenesmus and anal burning.There is unconspicuous adverse reaction and high safety during the treatment. |
