Objective: In this study, the efficacy of three different methods of shock wave group, the modified flavor of Sappanwood decoction group, and shock wave combined with Sappanwood decoction group in treating plantar fasciitis was compared through comparison methods.Finding a treatment for Plantar fasciitis that is more rapid, safe, and effective The treatment plan will benefit the majority of patients with plantar fasciitis. Methods: Sixty patients diagnosed with plantar fasciitis in the orthopedic clinic of the Affiliated Hospital of xx University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were randomly assigned to the shock wave group, the modified flavor of Sappanwood decoction group, and the combined shocked Sappanwood group,20 cases in each of the three groups. There was no significant difference in gender, location, age, course of disease, body mass index,VAS score, and Maryland score(p <0.05).Shock wave group:Orthopedic extracorporeal shock wave alone, twice a week for 4 consecutive weeks;the modified flavor of Sappanwood decoction group: Use the the modified flavor of Sappanwood decoction to fumigate the affected area for30 minutes, once a day,for a total of 4 weeks;shock wave combined with the modified flavor of Sappanwood decoction group: first use orthopedic extracorporeal shock waves, twice a week for 4 weeks, and then fumigate the affected area with Sappanwood soup for 30 minutes before bedtime, once a day for a total of 4 weeks. The three groups were treated with visualanalog pain score(VAS score),Maryland score(AOFAS ankle-hindfoot score),and "Guidelines for Clinical Research on New Chinese Medicine" before,1 week,2 weeks, and 4 weeks after treatment.Compare and observe if there are any adverse reactions.SPSS 22.0 statistical software was used to analyze the statistical data.Chi-square test was used for the patient’s gender and location. The patient’s age, course of disease, body mass index,VAS score, and Maryland score were tested by t test or non-parametric test.Result:1.Before treatment, analyze the patient’s gender, location, age, course of disease, body mass index,VAS score,Maryland score and other data.Chi-square test was used for gender and location. The p-value of three groups of gender and location chi-square test was greater than 0.05.The difference is not statistically significant;for age, course of disease, body mass index,VAS score, and Maryland score, first check whether it meets the normal distribution. If it meets the normal distribution(p> 0.05),use the test;if not,For normal distribution,non-parametric tests are used. There were no statistically significant differences in the test results of age, disease duration, body mass index,VAS score, and Maryland score(p> 0.05).2.The VAS scores of the three groups after 1 week,2 weeks, and 4 weeks after treatment were significantly lower than those before treatment, that is,the score before treatment> 1 week after treatment> 2 weeks after treatment> treatment> After 3 weeks, the difference in scores between them was statistically significant(p <0.05).After 1 week of treatment, the VAS scores of the three groups were lower than before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(p <0.05),but the difference between the three groups after 1 week of treatment was not statistically significant(p> 0.05).);After 2 weeks of treatment, the VAS scores ofthe three groups were lower than that of 1 week after treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(p <0.05),but after 2 weeks of treatment,There was no statistical difference in the scores(p <0.05),and the VAS scores in the combined group were more significantly lower than those in the other two groups, and the difference was statistically significant(p <0.05).After 4 weeks of treatment, the VAS scores in the three groups were all more than After 2 weeks of treatment, the decrease was statistically significant(p <0.05),but after 4 weeks of treatment, there was no statistical difference in the scores of the extracorporeal shock wave group and the modified flavor of Sappanwood decoction group(p <0.05).Compared with the other two groups, the VAS score of the group was significantly lower, and the difference was statistically significant(p <0.05).3.In the three groups, the Maryland scores after 1 week,2 weeks,and4 weeks were significantly higher than those before the treatment. The scores before the treatment were <1 week after the treatment <2 weeks after the treatment <4 weeks after the treatment. After that, the difference in scores between them was statistically significant(p <0.05).After 1week of treatment, the Maryland scores of the three groups were all higher than before treatment. The difference was statistically significant(p<0.05),but the difference between the three groups was not statistically significant after 1 week of treatment(p> 0.05).);After 2 weeks of treatment, the Maryland scores of the three groups were all higher than those after 1 week of treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(p <0.05),but after 2 weeks of treatment,There was no statistical difference in the scores(p <0.05),and the Maryland score of the combined group was more significant than the other two groups, and the difference was statistically significant(p <0.05).After 4 weeks of treatment, the Maryland scores of the three groups were all higher thanAfter 2 weeks of treatment, the increase was statistically significant(p <0.05),but after 2 weeks of treatment there was no statistical difference in the scores of the extracorporeal shock wave group and the modified flavor of Sappanwood decoction group(p <0.05).The Maryland score of the combined group was more significant than the other two groups, and the difference was statistically significant(p <0.05).4.The total effective rate of the combined group was higher than that of the extracorporeal shock wave group and the modified flavor of Sappanwood decoction group, and the difference in total effective rate was statistically significant(p <0.05).Conclusion: Extracorporeal shock wave combined with the modified flavor of Sappanwood decoction group has a good clinical effect;the effect of extracorporeal shock wave combined with the modified flavor of Sappanwood decoction group is more significant than that of extracorporeal shock wave group and flavored hemu decoction group;extracorporeal shock wave group and the modified flavor of Sappanwood decoction group. The extracorporeal shock wave combined with the modified flavor of Sappanwood decoction group had no obvious adverse reactions and was relatively safe.
