Objective: The purpose of this paper is to explore the therapeutic effect of extracorporeal shock wave combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation and washing on metatarsal fasciitis heel pain,to seek a safe, effective, simple and convenient treatment for this disease, and to provide clinicians with useful reference value for the treatment of this disease. Methods: The case of the subject was selected from September 2017 to October2019.During this period,it was treated in the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology of Jiangxi Provincial Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine. There were 66 patients, and then patients who met the criteria of this subject were randomized into three groups by using computer software.Group A was treated with extracorporeal shock wave combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation treatment, group B was treated exclusively with extracorporeal shock wave treatment, and group C was simply treated with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation Washing treatment, the number of cases in each group is equal. Two weeks of treatment is a course of treatment, and the end of the two courses of treatment, and case follow-up is carried out 1 month and 3 months after treatment.Collect and record the basic data(age, sex, course of disease, affected foot)of each group of cases, visual analogue scale(VAS)score of pain before and after treatmentfor 2 weeks,4 weeks,1 month and 3 months after treatment,AOFAS ankle-Footfoot score, and analyze the collected data through statistical software, and finally evaluate the efficacy of the group within and between groups at different time periods.Results:(1)The At the end of the whole process, there were 1 cases of shedding in each of the three groups, and the cases finally included in the analysis were 63 cases.Through statistical analysis(P ﹥ 0.05),the difference is not statistically significant and comparable.(2)Comparison among the three groups. The VAS score and AOFAS score were compared with those before treatment at 2 weeks,4 weeks, and 1 months and 3months after treatment(P﹤0.05).The differences were all different. There is statistical significance, indicating that the three treatments can alleviate heel pain and improve foot function.(3)Compared with group B and group C,group A had lower VAS scores and improved AOFAS ankle-hindfoot scores after 2 weeks,4 weeks,1 months and 3months follow-up,The difference is statistically significant(P﹤0.05),indicating that the combined therapy is better than shock wave and Chinese medicine fumigation in reducing heel pain and improving foot function.(4)Compared with group C,group B and group C had lower VAS scores and improved AOFAS ankle-hindfoot scores after treatment at 2 weeks,4 weeks,1months,and 3 months,It is statistically significant(P ﹤ 0.05),indicating that shock wave therapy is better than traditional Chinese medicine fumigation in reducing foot pain and improving foot function.(5)Analysis of clinical efficacy results: There was a statistically significant difference in efficacy between the three groups of patients(p﹤0.05).Pairwise comparison showed that the efficacy of group A was better than that of groups B and C(P﹤ 0.05).There was no significant difference in the efficacy between group B and group C(P﹥0.05).Conclusion: After After the three methods of treatment, the patients’ pain and function have improved to varying degrees.Among them, the combined treatment isbetter than pure shock wave or pure Chinese medicine fumigation. The side effect is small, simple, convenient and easy to be accepted by patients, and has certain clinical value.
