Study On The Correlation Between Lumbar Disc Herniation And TCM Constitution Type

To explore the distribution rules and characteristics of TCM constitution types in patients with lumbar disc herniation,and to check whether there is physical susceptibility.From the perspective of TCM constitution,based on the four diagnosis of TCM,further implement dialectical treatment for patients,improve the accuracy of dialectics,and be clinical practice The prevention of susceptible people and the adjustment of patient prognosis provide realistic evidence.MethodThis subject is analyzed and discussed from two aspects:theoretical research and clinical research.Theoretical research has systematically reviewed the research status of lumbar intervertebral disc herniation,the classification of syndromes,the current treatment methods used in clinical treatment,and the classification of TCM constitution and the relationship between constitution and disease.Based on the theoretical research,the clinical investigation was based on a questionnaire survey of 150 patients with lumbar disc herniation and 150 patients with non-lumbar disc herniation who were treated by the inpatient department of the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology of Hong du Hospital of Nanchang.This questionnaire includes general questionnaires for patients:mainly the survey respondents’age,gender,occupation,education,marital status,home address,and disease-related information(first patient journey,TCM diagnosis,TCM syndrome type,etc.);TCM Body Mass Scale:This question uses a scale developed by Professor Wang Qi.Each entry contains a question for the person to answer,and each question has 5 alternative answers.After the actual situation is filled in,the training staff will calculate the score.The questionnaires were issued,filled out and collected by orthopaedic specialists in our hospital.Data were entered using EXCELL2016 and analyzed by SPSS25.0 software.Explore the relationship between patients with lumbar disc herniation and TCM constitution.ResultsThere was a statistical correlation between the lumbar disc herniation group and the control group in terms of age,education,work nature,and occupational posture(P<0.05),and the two groups were comparable;marital status and gender factors were not statistically significant.Whether blood stasis quality,yang deficiency quality,damp heat quality,and peace quality were statistically correlated with LDH(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference in other constitutions.Among them,there were 42 patients with blood stasis in the lumbar disc herniation group,accounting for 28.0%,followed by 31with yang deficiency,accounting for 20.7%,and 27 with damp heat,accounting for 18.0%;the control group’s constitution type was mainly peaceful and 61,Accounting for 40.7%of the total number.In the lumbar disc herniation group,gender,age,and constitution type were statistically correlated by?~2 test(P<0.05).Among them,20 men were mainly concentrated in yang deficiency,accounting for 64.5%,and women were mainly in blood stasis.There are 28 people with a high quality,accounting for 66.7%;most people aged 20-29 are moderate,accounting for 38.5%,and 30-39 years old are mainly with damp heat and blood stasis,accounting for 29.7%and 18.9%,respectively.According to the statistics of the medical syndrome types,51 cases of bleeding and stasis syndrome,30 cases of cold and dampness syndrome,37 cases of dampness and heat syndrome,and 32 cases of kidney deficiency syndrome were respectively accounted for 34%,20%,24.7%,and 21.3%of the total number.The?~2 test of the nine types of patients with syndrome types has statistical significance.Among them,the number of patients with blood stasis syndrome is the largest,with 42 people,accounting for47.1%;In the damp-heat syndrome type,there were 14 people with damp-heat constitution,accounting for 37.8%;in the cold-dampness and kidney-deficiency syndrome types,yang-deficiency constitution were mainly 11 people,accounting for 36.7%and 34.4%,respectively.ConclusionThe LDH group mainly consisted of blood stasis,yang deficiency,and damp heat,and the control group was mainly focused on the peaceful ones.These three constitutions are considered to be biased constitutions that induce LDH;age,education,work nature,and occupational posture are all affected Lumbar intervertebral disc herniation has an impact;male and female constitutions are different with different constitutions.Men are most likely to have yang deficiency,qi deficiency,and phlegm-damp constitutions,and women are most likely to have blood stasis,qi depression,and yin deficiency constitutions.There is a certain effect;LDH patients with different constitution types have significant differences in their syndrome types,and their constitution types affect the syndrome types after LDH disease.
