The Study About Effects Of Tonglin Guben Decoction On Upper Urinary Calculi After Minimally Invasive Lithotripsy Through Natural Orifice

ObjectiveTo evaluate the efficacy and safety of Tonglin Guben decoction in the treatment of upper urinary calculi residual stones after lithotripsy through natural orifice by prospective clinical randomized controlled study.MethodsSelection during October 2020 to February 2021 were included in the 90 cases of urinary stones patients treated in urology department of Guangdong Province hospital of TCM as the research object,which request them has been through a natural orifice lithotripsy and confirmed with postoperative residual stone.Then,using SPSS software version 21.0 randomly divided 90 Numbers into blank control group and Tonglin Guben group,which meet with the standard of research and every patient has the own number in order.The blank control group was given education and lifestyle intervention and Tonglin Guben group was additively treated with Tonglin Guben decoction granules on the basis of the above blank control group.General information(such as age,gender,BMI,etc.),residual stone clearance rate,frequency and degree of renal colic attack,hematuria improvement degree and possible adverse reactions of patients in both groups were recorded after 1±2 weeks and 4±2 weeks of treatment.Next,SPSS 21.0 version was used to perform statistical calculations on the collected general data,clinical efficacy data and other data,and the differences between the two groups were compared.ResultsThe study included 90 patients,3 cases was got rid of and 2 cases fell off,eventually a total of 85 cases of patients meet eligibility criteria.The results are as follows:(1)respectively the general data of patients before treatment between the two groups,including sex,age,BMI,calculi comparing with type and so on,there was no statistically significant difference,with homogeneous comparability.(2)After 4 weeks± 2 days of treatment,the cure rate,effective rate and inefficiency rate of the residual stone of Tonglin Guben group respectively were 42.9%,52.4%and 4.8%,and the total effective rate(cure+effective)was 95.2%.In blank control group,the cure rate,effective rate and inefficiency were 39.5%,37.2%and 23.3%,and the total effective rate was 76.7%.Pearson or Fisher chi-square test was conducted for the above 3 data and inefficiency between the two groups,respectively,and the results were statistically different.(3)After 1 week and 2 days of treatment,the cure rate,significant effective rate,effective rate and inefficiency rate of Tonglin Guben group respectively were 7.1%,64.3%,19.0%and 9.5%,and the total effective rate was 90.5%.In blank control group,the cure rate,significant effective rate,effective rate and inefficiency rate were 0%,68.3%,4.9%and 26.8%,and the total effective rate was 73.2%.Pearson or Fisher chi-square test was performed on the above 4 data and inefficiency between the two groups respectively,and the results of the other 3 data were statistically significant except for signficant efficiency.(4)After 4 weeks ±2 days of treatment,the cure rate,significant efficiency,effective rate and inefficiency of Tonglin Guben group respectively were 21.4%,61.9%,7.1%and 9.5%.The total effective rate was 90.5%,while the cure rate,significant efficiency,effective rate and inefficiency of the blank control group were 24.4%,48.8%,14.6%and 12.2%,and the total effective rate was 87.8%.The above 4 data were statistically compared with the inefficiency between the two groups,and the results were not statistically significant.(5)A total of 5 patients in the two groups presented low back pain symptoms,including 2 patients in Tonglin Guben group and 3 patients in blank control group.The frequency and degree of low back pain in patients in blank control group were higher than that in Tonglin Guben group.During the study period,some patients had mild postoperative complications such as fever and frequent urination,but no serious complications occurred,and no significant changes were observed in related biochemical test and ECG when reexamination after the end of the medication cycle.In this study,no adverse reactions related to Tonglin Guben decoction granules were found.ConclusionTonglin Guben decoction granules can promote the discharge of upper urinary stones through natural cavity lithotripsy to a certain extent,and can faster promote the recovery of hematuria symptoms,and its side effects and adverse side effects are slight,drug safety has been confirmed.
