Clinical Observation On The Filiform-fire Acupuncture Combined With Wheat-grain Moxibustion In Treating Chronic Eczema Of Splenasthenic Hygrosis

ObjectiveThrough observation and contrast filiform-fire acupuncture combined with wheat-grain moxibustion with mometasone furoate cream in the treatment of chronic eczema of splenasthenic hygrosis,to discusses the the clinical efficacy of filiform-fire acupuncture combined with wheat-grain moxibustion in treating chronic eczema of splenasthenic hygrosis,to provide methods and ideas for clinical treatment of chronic eczema.MethodsA total of 80 patients with chronic eczema of splenasthenic hygrosis who were treated at the Department of Dermatology and Acupuncture and Moxibustion Department of Dongguan Hospital of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2020 to December 2020 were selected and randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 40 cases each.The treatment group was treated with filiform-fire acupuncture combined with wheat-grain moxibustion.and the affected areas were acupuncture with filiform-fire acupuncture.The wheat-grain moxibustion selected points Quchi,Xuehai,Zusanli,Yinlingquan,and pishu(both sides),and moxibustion 5 times for each point,2 times a week,a total of 4 weeks of treatment.The control group was treated with mometasone furoate cream once a day for 4 weeks.After the treatment,the eczema area and severity index score(EASI score),pruritus score,dermatological quality of life score(DLQI score),total points and clinical efficacy were compared between the two groups.ResultsOf the 80 patients who met the inclusion criteria,2 cases fell out of the treatment group,1 case fell out of the control group,and 1 case was eliminated.In the end,76 patients completed the study.Before treatment,the baseline data of the two groups of patients,such as gender,age,course of disease,and pre-treatment EASI score,pruritus score and DLQI score were compared.After statistical analysis,the difference is not statistically significant,and the two groups of patients are comparable.After the treatment period of this trial,the EASI score,pruritus score and DLQI score of the two groups decreased compared with before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total score,EASI score,pruritus score,and DLQI score difference of the treatment group before and after treatment were better than those of the control group.The above score difference was compared,and statistical analysis showed that the difference between the two groups’ total score,EASI score and DLQI score,The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),the difference between the two groups of pruritus degree scores,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).In terms of curative effect,in the treatment group,0 cases were cured,17 cases were markedly effective,18 cases were effective,3 cases were ineffective,and the total effective rate was 92.11%;in the control group,0 cases were cured,6 cases were markedly effective,22 cases were effective,and 10 cases were ineffective,with a total effective rate of 73.68%,The curative effect of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).During the course of this study,there were no obvious adverse reactions in the two groups of patients.ConclusionThis study found that the combination of filiform-fire acupuncture combined with wheat-grain moxibustion and mometasone furoate cream for external use in the treatment of chronic eczema of splenasthenic hygrosis can achieve certain clinical effects.Compared with the combination of filiform-fire acupuncture and wheat-grain moxibustion and Mometasone furoate cream in the treatment of chronic eczema of splenasthenic hygrosis,Mometasone furoate cream has roughly the same effect in improving the degree of itching,but has better effects in improving eczema area and severity index quality of life and total effective rate.The combination of filiform-fire acupuncture and wheat-grain moxibustion for the treatment of chronic eczema of splenasthenic hygrosis has the advantages of high efficiency,small side effects,and low cost.It is worthy of clinical application.
