| ObjectiveCervical spondylosis is the most common type of cervical spondylosis and it is easy to cure.In order to improve the clinical symptoms of patients,Wentong scraping therapy implemented in our hospital has a good therapeutic effect and is widely praised by patients.Previous studies have shown that the therapeutic effect of Wentong scraping therapy is better than moxibustion and scraping alone.In order to further improve the therapeutic effect of Wentong scraping therapy on cervical spondylosis,this study intends to adopt a randomized controlled trial to explore the influence and clinical efficacy of Wentong scraping therapy on cervical spondylosis patients under the guidance of the Five Yun and Six Qi Theory,and to verify whether the acupoint selection based on syndrome differentiation under the theory plays an increasing role.MethodsA total of 111 patients with cervical spondylosis diagnosed from June 2020 to December 2020 in the Third Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were included.They were divided into the conventional treatment group,the control group,and the experimental group by the envelope method,with 37 cases in each group.The conventional treatment group used "mi" exercises and celecoxib capsules orally,the control group was treated with Wentong Scraping therapy on the basis of the conventional treatment group,and the experimental group was given specific acupoint pessing and warming by the Five Yun and Six Qi Theory of Gengzi.The treatment was 20 minutes/time,once/2 days,and intervention 3 times a week was a course of treatment,6 times in total.2 courses of treatment were 2 weeks.The VAS pain scale(Visual Analogue Scale)and Northwick Park pain questionnaire(NPQ)were used as evaluation indexes to observe and compare the curative effects of the three groups.One month after treatment,the patients were investigated by telephone,and the long-term treatment effect was evaluated by NPQ scale.The treatment was 20 minutes/time,1 time/2 days,3 times a week is a course of treatment,a total of 6 times,2 courses for 2 weeks.VAS Pain Score Scale(Visual Analogue Scale)and Northwick Park Pain Questionnaire(NPQ)were used to evaluation clilical effect and compared the efficacy.One month after the treatment,the patients were investigated by telephone,evaluated the long-term treatment effect by NPQ.Results1.Compared with the conventional treatment group,control group and experimental group,there was no significant difference in age,sex composition,course of disease,VAS score and NPQ score before treatment(P>0.05).2.There were significant differences in VAS and NPQ scores among the three groups before treatment,after the first course of treatment and after the second course of treatment(P<0.01),indicated that both conventional treatment and Wentong Scraping therapy can relieve the symptoms of neck pain and improve the function of the cervical spine.3.After the first course of treatment,there was no significant difference in VAS score among the three groups(P>0.05).Compared with the conventional treatment group,there was significant difference in NPQ score between the control group and the experimental group(P<0.01),and there was no significant difference in NPQ score between the control group and the experimental group(P>0.05).It showed that Wentong Scraping therapy was better than conventional treatment in the treatment of cervical spondylosis,and the Five Yun and Six Qi Theory did not play a synergistic effect.4.After the second course of treatment,compared with the conventional treatment group,there were significant differences in VAS and NPQ scores between the control group and the experimental group(P<0.01),but there were no significant differences in VAS and NPQ scores between the control group and the experimental group(P>0.05).It showed that after the second course of treatment,patients who received Wentong Scraping therapy(control group,experimental group)have further improved neck pain and cervical spine mobility,and the effect is better than the conventional treatment group.The Five Yun and Six Qi Theory did not increase effection.5.After the treatment,the effective rate of the conventional treatment group was 91.89%,and the effective rate of the control group and the experimental group was 100%.6.One month after the end of treatment,there were significant differences in NPQ scores between the three groups(P<0.01),and there were significant differences in NPQ scores between the control group andthe experimental group(P<0.01).In long-terms evaluation,the therapeutic effect of Wentong Scraping therapy under the guidance of the Five Yun and Six Qi Theory is better.ConclusionWentong scraping therapy had obvious effect on the treatment of Cervical spondylosis,it can effectively relieve the symptoms of cervical pain,improve the function.The application of the Five Yun and Six Qi Theory in the treatment of cervical spondylosis has a significant effect in the long-term treatment. |
