| ObjectiveA randomized controlled trial was conducted in this study to compare the differences in clinical efficacy of smoothing the liver and strengthening the spleen massotherapy combined with conventional massage method and the use of conventional massage method alone in the treatment of pediatric stagnation due to spleen deficiency,to clarify the clinical effectiveness and feasibility of smoothing the liver and strengthening the spleen massotherapy for treatment of pediatric stagnationdue to spleen deficiency.The aim of this study is to broaden the diagnosis and treatment ideas of pediatric stagnation due to spleen deficiency and promote the clinical promotion of pediatric massage.MethodsAccording to the inclusion criteria,a total of 72 children with pediatric stagnation due to spleen deficiency were admitted to the acupuncture clinic,who treated in the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine and the pediatric massage clinic of Dongyuantang from February 2020 to December 2020.After signing the informed consent form,the children were divided into the experimental group and the control group by random number table method,and the cases were screened according to the exclusion and shedding criteria.Finally,66 cases were completed in the study.The experimental group was treated with the massage method of smoothing the liver and strengthening the spleen with the conventional massage method,and the control group was treated with the conventional massage method,treated once every other day,3 times a week,4 weeks as a course of treatment,a course of treatment in total.During the study,age,gender,course of disease and TCM symptom scores before and after treatment were recorded respectively in the two groups,and statistical software SPSS 23.0 was used to analyze and compare the results.Results1.A total of 72 cases were included in this study,of which 66 cases were completed in the end,and 33 cases were actually completed in the experimental group and the control group respectively.2.There was no statistical difference in the general data before treatment between the experimental group and the control group,including gender,age,course of disease,total scores of TCM symptoms and scores of each symptom item(P>0.05),which was comparable.3.Comparisons of clinical efficacy:(1)Each TCM symptom score:The scores of TCM symptoms in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.05).The experimental group was better than the control group in improving the symptoms of abdominal distension,thin and pasty stool,drowsiness and fatigue,restless sleeping at night and tongue coating(P<0.05).The improvement degree of the two groups was similar in the symptoms of lactating and eating and sallow complexion(P>0.05).(2)TCM symptom score:After treatment,the total scores of TCM symptoms in both groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.05).Comparing the difference of TCM symptom scores between the two groups before and after treatment,it was found that the decrease amplitude of the experimental group was greater than that of the control group(P<0.05).(3)Total effective rate:In this study,the total effective rate of the experimental group was 93.9%,the total effective rate of the control group was 81.8%,the total effective rate of the experimental group was significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05).ConclusionSmoothing the liver and strengthening the spleen massage method combined with conventional massage method and the use of conventional massage method can effectively treat children with spleen deficiency stagnation,and the former has more advantages.Smoothing the liver and strengthening the spleen massage method has significant curative effect in improving the symptoms of abdominal distension,thin and pasty stool,drowsiness and fatigue,restless sleeping at night and tongue coating in children of pediatric stagnation due to spleen deficiency,which is worthy of clinical promotion and application. |
