Effect Of Qianyang Tongjing Decoction On Obesity-related Hypertension And Its Effect On C-reactive Protein,interleukin-6 And Tumor Necrosis Factor-α

Objective: to observe and explore the effect of Qianyang Tongjing decoction on obesity-related hypertension and and the level of C-reactive protein,interleukin-6 and tumor necrosis factor-α.Methods: In accordance with the inclusion and exclusion criteria,70 patients with obesity-related hypertension with liver-yang hyperactivity and phlegm and blood stasis syndrome.According to the method of random number table,the cases were randomly divided into experimental group(n= 30)and control group(n = 30).Drug intervention studies were carried out on the basis of improving life style,and the total course of treatment was 12 weeks.Control group routine western medicine treatment: valsartan(Daiwen,80 mg qd/bid po.);experimental group,on the basis of the control group,taking Qianyang Tongjing decoction,one dose a day,warm in the morning and evening.The changes of blood pressure,TCM syndrome score,body mass index(BMI),waist circumference,triglyceride,cholesterol,low density lipoprotein,high density lipoprotein,C-reactive protein,interleukin-6 and tumor necrosis factor-α were observed before and after treatment.Results: The results showed that the total effective rate(100%)in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group(70.00%)(P >0.05),but on the basis of conventional treatment,taking Qianyang Tongjing Decoction could reduce systolic blood pressure more obvious.The total effective rate of TCM symptoms in experimental group(83.33%)was significantly higher than that in control group(33.33%),and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).In addition,the symptoms of dizziness,obesity,mouth pain,irritability,tinnitus,chest tightness,nausea and other symptoms were obviously alleviated,and the efficacy of the experimental group was better than that of the control group(P <0.05).The levels of body mass index,waist circumference,triglyceride,cholesterol and low density lipoprotein in experimental groups were significantly lower than those of before treatment,and were also better than those in control group except waist circumference(P<0.05).The levels of high density lipoprotein in experimental group and control group were not significantly improved(p>0.05).The levels of C-reactive protein,interleukin-6 and tumor necrosis factor-α in experimental group were significantly improved compared with before treatment or the control group(P <0.05).Conclusion: the curative effect of on the basis of valsartan taking Qianyang Tongjing decoction is better than that of valsartan alone in the treatment of obesity-related hypertension with liver-yang hyperactivity and phlegm and blood stasis syndrome.
