Clinical Study On Toutong Granule In The Treatment Of Vestibular Migraine (Disturbing-up Of Wind And Yang Type)

Objective:The purpose of this study is to study the clinical effect of Toutong granule on vestibular migraine(disturbing-up of wind and Yang type),and to explore the mechanism of Toutong granule on the disease.Methods:A total of 70 patients who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were randomly divided into experimental group and control group with35 cases in each group.The control group was treated with flunarizine hydrochloride capsules,and the experimental group was treated with Toutong granules on the basis of the control group.Both groups were treated for 4weeks.The score of TCM Syndrome Score Scale,the score of Dizziness Handicap Inventory,Visual Analogue Score,attack frequency every 4 weeks and average duration of each attack were observed before treatment,after treatment,8-week follow-up and 12 week follow-up,and were statistically analyzed by SPSS26.0.Results:2 cases in the experimental group and 3 cases in the control group fell off,a total of 65 cases completed this study.The score of TCM Syndrome Score Scale,the score of Dizziness Handicap Inventory,Visual Analogue Score,attack frequency every 4 weeks and average duration of each attack in2 groups were better than before treatment(P<0.01),and the experimental group was better than the control group after treatment(P<0.05),the difference was statistically significant.The effective rate of the experimental group was90.91% and that of the control group was 71.88%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Follow-up at the end of 8 and 12 weeks in the experimental group was also better than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Toutong granule can calm the liver and calm the wind,regulate qi and relieve depression,activate blood circulation and dredge meridians and collaterals,reduce the score of TCM Syndrome Score Scale,the score of Dizziness Handicap Inventory,Visual Analogue Score,attack frequency every 4weeks and average duration of each attack in patients with vestibular migraine(disturbing-up of wind and Yang type),which is safe and the curative effect can be maintained for a long time.
