Objective:To observe the effect of shao’s cervical exercise on the intervention of patients with vertebral artery type of cervical spondylotic disease,in order to provide an effective method of prevention and treatment for clinical patients with cervical spondylopathy of vertebral artery type. Methods:Select 64 cases with cervical spondylopathy of vertebral artery type who were in the non-acute stage after treatment in the outpatient and ward of the department of massage in jiangsu hospital of traditional Chinese medicine were randomly divided into observation group and control group,32 cases each.Patients in the observation group, used shao’s neck protection exercises to intervene, patients in the control group received routine rehabilitation exercise intervention, the intervention continued for three months.Cervical vertigo symptom and function score before and after intervention, neck disability index before intervention, half a month after intervention,1 month after intervention and 3 months after intervention were observed, and the scores were statistically analyzed. Results:After statistical analysis, the results showed that the total score of neck disability index, the total score of cervical vertigo symptom and functional assessment scale in the observation group and the control group were improved, and the differences were statistically significant compared with those before intervention(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in symptoms and functional scores of cervical vertigo between the two groups after the intervention(P>0.05).The neck disability index score of the two groups decreased gradually after the intervention at half a month, one month and three months. There was no statistically significant difference in neck disability index score between the two groups during the half month and the first month of intervention(P>0.05),while the difference between the two groups during the third month of intervention was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the difference mean value in the observation group was higher than that in the control group. Conclusion:Both routine.rehabilitation exercises and shao’s neck care exercises can improve the symptoms and frequency of symptoms and improve the quality of life of patients. In the short term, the intervention effect of the two groups was similar, while the long-term intervention effect of shao’s neck protection exercise was superior to the routine rehabilitation exercise exercise.
