| Objective: To understand the current situation of job pressure,coping style and parenting competence of parents of premature infants,and to clarify the influencing factors of parenting competence of parents of premature infants,so as to provide a basis for future intervention research on improving parenting competence of parents.Methods: In this study,the convenience sampling method was used to select the fathers or mothers of 264 preterm infants who met the inclusion criteria as the survey subjects.Through the general demographic questionnaire,Parenting Stress List,Chinese version of Parenting Coping Style Scale and Chinese version of Parenting Sense of Compatibility Scale,the effective questionnaires were sorted out and analyzed using SPSS26.0.Results:(1)In this study,the number of mothers of premature infants was more than that of fathers.Most of them were 30～35 years old,lived in cities and had stable jobs,had a monthly income of less than 6000.Most of them had bachelor’s degree or above,and almost all of them had medical insurance and had parenting experience.There were more boys than girls,34～36 weeks and 2kg～2.5kg of birth weight in the majority.(2)The total score of parental job stress of premature infants was(92.49±11.79),which was at a high level.There were statistically significant differences in place of residence,working status of parents,monthly family income,gestational age,birth weight and gender of the infants(P < 0.05).(3)The score of frequency of using coping styles of parents of premature infants(176.61±17.32)and the score of effect of coping styles(114.74±11.96)were statistically significant(P<0.05)in relation to children,age,residence,payment method of medical expenses,number of births and gender of children.In addition,there were significant differences in the frequency of coping styles in birth weight(P<0.05).There was statistical significance in the effect of coping style on family monthly income(P < 0.05).(4)The total score of preterm infants’ parents’ parenting competence was(67.90±13.88),and there were statistically significant differences in family monthly income,number of births,gestational age,birth weight and other aspects(P < 0.05).(5)Parenting stress was negatively correlated with the frequency of coping styles(r=-0.379,P<0.01),the effect of coping styles(r=-0.477,P<0.01),and parenting competence(r=-0.356,P<0.01);There was a positive correlation between the frequency of coping style use and the effect of coping style(r=0.766,P<0.01),a positive correlation between the frequency of coping style use and parenting competence(r=0.136,P<0.05),and a positive correlation between the high and low effect of coping style and parenting competence(r=0.321,P<0.01).(6)In this study,the total score of the effect of cooperation and optimism,the gestational age of children,the number of children’s birth(the first birth),and the total score of parental pressure can jointly explain the variation of 48.0% in the dependent variable of the score of parenting competence.Conclusion:(1)Parental pressure of premature infants is at a high level.(2)Place of residence,working status of parents,family monthly income,gestational age,birth weight and gender of children have influence on parental pressure.Research object relationships with children,age,residence,medical treatment charge payment,production times,children with gender on coping style has an effect of the frequency and the size of the role,birth weight affect coping styles use frequency,family income have an impact on response effect size.Family income,production times,children with gestational age,birth weight children have an impact on parenting competency.(3)The higher the parental job pressure of premature infants,the lower the frequency and effect of coping style,and the lower the parenting competence.(4)The total score of the effect of cooperation and optimism,the gestational age of the children,the number of births(the first birth),and the total score of parental pressure can jointly explain the variation of 48.0% in the dependent variable of the score of parenting competence. |
