ObjectiveTo understand the level of acute stress disorder and dyadic coping, parenting stress and differences among parents in parents of NICU preterm infants,to analyze the relationship between acute stress disorder and dyadic coping, parenting stress in parents of NICU preterm infants, and to explore the influencing factors of acute stress disorder in parents of NICU preterm infants. To provide a reference for the future development of intervention measures to reduce the level of acute stress disorder in parents of NICU preterm infants.MethodThe convenience sampling method was used to continuously select 216 pairs of parents of NICU preterm infants who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria in a Women and Children’s Medical center in Dalian from November,2021 to August,2022 as the research objects, and the self-designed general situation questionnaire,Dyadic Coping Inventory,Parenting Stress Index-Short Form,Stanford Acute Stress Reaction Questionnaire were used. The data was screened and entered into Excel as seen, and SPSS25.0 software was used for statistical analysis. The statistical methods used descriptive statistics, paired sample t test, independent sample t test, analysis of variance,Pearson correlation analysis and regression analysis. To analyze the status of the three and the differences between parents, correlation and the main influencing factors of acute stress disorder in parents of NICU preterm infants.Result1.In this group, the score of maternal acute stress disorder was(42.08±19.92),and the incidence of acute stress disorder was 50.7%;The score of acute stress disorder in fathers was(40.22±19.68),and the incidence of acute stress disorder was 46.9%.The score of mothers’ dyadic coping was(115.03±13.87);The score of dyadic coping of fathers was(115.09±12.98).The score of mothers’ parenting stress was(90.38±18.47);The score of parental stress of fathers was(84.51±20.49).2.Paired comparative analysis of the scores of acute stress disorder in parents of NICU preterm infants and the scores of each dimension were found that parents of NICU preterm infants had avoidance(t=-2.284,P<0.05),increased anxiety or alertness(t=2.145,P<0.05),and social dysfunction(t=4.844,P<0.05)there were differences in the scores of the three dimensions. The score of avoidance dimension was higher in fathers than in mothers, and the score of anxiety or alertness and social dysfunction dimension was higher in mothers than in fathers.Paired comparative analysis of the dyadic coping scores in parents of NICU preterm infants and the scores of each dimension were found that parents of NICU preterm infants had significant differences in their own stress communication(t=5.410,P<0.01),self-support coping(t=2.408,P<0.05),authorize their response(t=2.608,P<0.05),communicate with perceived stress(t=-5.857,P<0.01),perceived authorization coping(t=-4.847,P<0.01)and perceived negative coping(t=2.602,P<0.05).Mothers scored higher than fathers in the dimensions of their own stress communication,self-support coping, authorize their response and perceived negative coping, while fathers scored higher than mothers in the dimensions of communicate with perceived stress and perceived authorization coping.Paired comparative analysis of parenting stress scores in parents of NICU preterm infants and the scores of each dimension were found that there were differences in the scores of parenting distress(t=6.619,P<0.01),difficult children(t=4.136,P<0.01)and the total score of parenting stress(t=4.640,P<0.01)of parents of NICU preterm infants.Mothers scored higher than fathers in both dimensions and total score.3.This study found that the level of acute stress disorder in parents of NICU preterm infants was significantly negatively correlated with dyadic coping levels, negatively correlated with positive dyadic coping dimensions, and positively correlated with negative dyadic coping dimensions;and the level of acute stress disorder was significantly positively correlated with the level of parenting stress; The parenting stress level was significantly negatively correlated with the dyadic coping level, negatively correlated with positive dyadic coping dimensions, and positively correlated with negative dyadic coping dimensions; There is a bidirectional correlation between acute stress disorder and dyadic coping and parenting stress in parents of NICU preterm infants.4.Self and each other Dyadic coping,Self-parenting stress and acute stress disorder of their spouses of parents of NICU preterm infants are the main influencing factors of acute stress disorder of parents of NICU preterm infants. The occupation of mothers in civil servant is also one of the influencing factors of acute stress disorder of fathers.Conclusion1.Parents of NICU preterm infants have a high incidence of acute stress disorder, which needs to be addressed urgently. The dyadic coping of parents of NICU preterm infants is intermediate and needs to be improved.Parents of NICU preterm infants have high levels of parenting stress, and targeted interventions need to be developed to improve their parenting stress levels.2.There are differences in parental roles in acute stress disorder, dyadic coping and parenting stress among parents of NICU preterm infants, and the differences between parents should be considered in the formulation of intervention measures.3.Acute stress disorder in parents of NICU preterm infants is correlated with dyadic coping and parenting stress, and there is a bidirectional correlation between parents.Dyadic coping was negatively correlated with acute stress disorder, parenting stress was positively correlated with acute stress disorder, and dyadic coping was negatively correlated with parenting stress.4.Self and each other Dyadic coping,Self-parenting stress and acute stress disorder of their spouses of parents of NICU preterm infants are the influencing factors of acute stress disorder of parents of NICU preterm infants.Self-Dyadic coping was a negative predictor, while dyadic coping of their spouses,Self-parental stress and acute stress disorder of their spouses were positive predictors. The occupation of mothers in civil servant is also one of the influencing factors of acute stress disorder of fathers of NICU preterm infants.5.In future care for parents of NICU preterm infants, the differences between parents should be considered from a binary perspective and paid attention to.
