Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Hypomenorrhea(Qi Stagnation And Blood Stasis)with Modified Bawu Decoction

Objective: In this study,Bawu Decoction was used to treat oligomenorrhea(qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome),and Honghua Xiaoyao Granule was used as a control for clinical observation.The improvement of main symptoms,secondary symptoms and endometrium before and after treatment of Bawu Decoction and Honghua Xiaoyao Granule was compared to prove that Bawu Decoction is safe and effective for treating oligomenorrhea(qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome)and provide a new method for treating this disease in the future.Methods: In this study,72 patients with hypomenorrhea were collected in the outpatient department of Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated Hospital and Maternity Clinic Center,all of whom met the syndrome of qi stagnation and blood stasis,and were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.There were 4 cases of shedding during the whole treatment period(There were 2 cases in the treatment group and 2 cases in the control group),and 34 cases in each group were actually collected.The treatment group was treated with Bawu Decoction,while the control group was treated with Honghua Xiaoyao Granule.After three menstrual cycles,the improvement of main symptoms,secondary symptoms and endometrium before and after treatment was compared between the two groups.Results: There were 34 cases in the treatment group with a total effective rate of 82.35%,and 34 cases in the control group with a total effective rate of 73.53%.After comparing the main symptoms of the two groups before and after treatment,it was found that the treatment group and the control group had an improvement effect on menstrual quantity,menstrual duration and color and quality(P < 0.05).Bawu Decoction is better than Honghua Xiaoyao Granule in improving menstrual flow and duration(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in the efficacy between the two groups in improving the quality of menstruation(P > 0.05).Bawu Decoction is better than Honghua Xiaoyao Granule in improving dry mouth,breast pain before or during menstruation,and pain in lower abdomen(P < 0.05).There is no significant difference between the two groups in improving the discomfort of chest and hypochondriac distension,being good at relieving restlessness and irritability(P > 0.05).The improvement of endometrial thickness in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(P < 0.05).Conclusion: Both modified Bawu Decoction and Honghua Xiaoyao Granule have good therapeutic effects on hypomenorrhea,but modified Bawu Decoction is better than Honghua Xiaoyao Granule in treating hypomenorrhea(qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome),which is safe and has no adverse reactions.
