| Objective:This study aims to understand the the quality of life experienced by colorectal cancer,and to explore the influencing factors of the life quality from the perspectives of sociodemographic characteristics,behavioral lifestyle,disease characteristics,anxiety symptoms,social support,and medical coping styles,and so on.At the same time,the relationship between influencing factors and their impact on the quality of life is discussed in detail.and the scientific interventions were provided to improve the quality of life of patients with colorectal cancer.Methods:Using the convenience sampling method,patients with colorectal cancer were selected as participants who were hospitalized in a tertiary hospital in Changchun from July 2017 to February 2018.The questionnaire survey and medical record collection were conducted to investigate participants.and the content of investigation included socio-demographic characteristics,disease status,personal total monthly income,self-assessed disease burden,behavior and lifestyle,quality of life,anxiety symptoms,social support,and medical coping style.The questionnaires include the basic Situation Questionnaire,EORTC QLQ-C30,SAS,PSSS,MCMQ.A total of 347 questionnaires were distributed in this study,and 320 valid questionnaires were returned,with an effective response rate of 92.22%.Epidata 3.0 was used to establish a database and enter data,The data were analyzed and processed using IBM SPSS24.0.Results:1.The overall quality of life score of 320 colorectal cancer patients in this survey was 54.48±15.04.In the functional domain,emotional function and social function scores were low,50.16±16.08 and 54.48±15.04,respectively.The fatigue score was the highest in the symptom field,50.83±20.52;among the individual items,the score of financial difficulties was the highest,67.92±29.25.2.Multiple linear regression analysis showed that social support(β=0.224,P<0.001),self-rated sleep quality(β=0.177,P<0.01),smoking(β=-0.163,P<0.01),physical activity status score(β=-0.139,P<0.01)and educational level(β=0.135,P=0.011)are independent factors influencing the quality of life.Colorectal cancer patients with low social support,poor self-rated sleep quality,smoking,high physical activity status score,and low education level have poor quality of life.3.The mediating effect analysis shows that social support plays a completely mediating role between anxiety symptoms and quality of life.Anxiety symptoms have a significant negative predictive effect on social support,the confidence interval(-0.269,-0.136)does not include 0;social support has a significant positive predictive effect on the quality of life,the confidence interval(0.177,0.561),the result does not include 0;After joining social support,the direct effect of anxiety symptoms on the quality of life is not significant,the confidence interval(-0.136,0.105),including 0,while the indirect effect of anxiety symptoms on the quality of life is significant,the confidence interval(-0.120,-0.038)does not include 0.Conclusions:1.The quality of life of patients with colorectal cancer is at a low level.2.Social support,self-assessment of sleep quality,smoking,physical activity status score,and education level are independent influencing factors of quality of life.3.In the impact of anxiety symptoms on quality of life,comprehension of social support plays a completely mediating role. |
