Objective:In this project,we used syndrome differentiation diet combined with traditional Chinese medicine foot bath to intervene in patients with coronary heart disease with chronic heart failure(Yang deficiency, blood stasis and water stop syndrome),and observe the effects of NT-pro BNP,6MWD,MLHFQ scores,TCM syndrome scores before and after treatment At the same time, the patient’s rehospitalization rate and mortality rate were recorded to evaluate the clinical efficacy and feasibility of this program. Methods:In this study,a prospective randomized controlled study method was used to randomly divide patients meeting the inclusion criteria into a control group and a test group. The control group was given basic western medicine treatment;the test group was given western medicine + traditional Chinese medicine diet + foot bath treatment for 4 weeks. The NT-pro BNP,6MWD,MLHFQ scores and TCM syndrome scores before and after treatment were observed. After leaving the group, the patients were treated for 12 weeks Follow-up,record cardiovascular events and rehospitalization rate.Results:1.NT-pro BNP level: The two groups of patients improved P<0.05 after treatment compared with before treatment;there was no statistically significant difference between the groups after treatment,P>0.05.The total effective rates of the experimental group and the control group were 88.6% and 78.8%,respectively.2.6-minute walking distance: After treatment, both groups improved P<0.05;after treatment, there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups,P>0.05.The total effective rates of the experimental group and the control group were 71.4% and66.7%,respectively.3.Minnesota Quality of Life Score: After treatment, both groups improved P﹤0.05;after treatment, there was a statistically significant difference in physical and other conditions between the two groups,P ﹤ 0.05,but there was no statistical difference in emotional status.Significance P>0.05.4.TCM syndrome scores: The total scores of the two groups of patients improved P<0.05 after the treatment compared with before the treatment;the difference between the groups after the treatment was statistically significant P<0.05.The total effective rates of the experimental group and the control group were 88.6% and 54.5%,respectively.Comparison of individual TCM symptoms: The symptoms of chest tightness, shortness of breath/wheezing,and edema in the control group were improved after treatment P<0.05,while 8 symptoms such as chills/cold limbs were not significantly improved P>0.05.The11 symptoms of patients in the experimental group, such as chest tightness and pain, were significantly improved after treatment,P<0.05.After treatment, there was no statistically significant difference in the three symptoms of chest tightness and pain,P>0.05,and the difference in 8 symptoms, such as chills/cold limbs, was statistically significant,P﹤0.05.5.After 12 weeks of follow-up,the number of rehospitalizations in the control group was 6(18.2%),and the test group was 1(2.9%).There was a statistically significant difference in the rehospitalization rate between the groups P﹤0.05;there were no patients in the two groups.Cardiovascular and death events occurred. Conclusion: TCM diet combined with foot bath therapy has a good clinical effect on patients with coronary heart disease and chronic heart failure(Yang deficiency, blood stasis and water stop syndrome),especially in improving the quality of life of patients,TCM syndromes and rehospitalization rate, and it is safe and reliable. It provides new ideas and methods for the treatment of coronary heart disease and chronic heart failure in Chinese medicine. |
