Clinical Study On The Efficacy Of Wenshen Tongluo Decoction In Treating Deficiency And Cold Primary Dysmenorrhea

Objective: The purpose of this study is to initially evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of Wenshen Tongluo prescription and Dingkun Dan in treating patients with Deficiency – Cold Primary Dysmenorrhea(PD),to provide a practical plan for the treatment of this disease,in order to provide an objective reference basis for the clinical treatment of Deficiency – Cold PD in traditional Chinese medicine.Methods: From January 2020 to December 2020,60 cases of PD patients with Deficiency – Cold type in the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine and TCM Reproductive Assistance and Dysmenorrhea Clinic of the Fifth Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University were selected and divided into treatment groups using the blind method of random control,the randomized controlled trials(Wenshen Tongluo Recipe)and the control group(Dingkun Dan),and 58 cases were finally included in statistical analysis,with 29 cases in each group.Both groups were treated with relevant drugs for three concecutive menstrual cycles,and VAS score,dysmenorrhea symptom score and TCM syndrome score were performed after the treatment for three menstrual cycles and the first two menstrual cycles after stopping the drug,and the scores between the groups were compared,in order to evaluate the difference between the efficacy of Wenshen Tongluo prescription and Dingkun Dan in the treatment of Deficiency – Cold PD,and draw a conclusion.Results:(1)There is no significant difference in age、course of disease、menstrual cycle between the two droups,and the two groups are comparable.(2)The VAS score,dysmenorrhea symptom scores,etc.and the comparison before treatment are all reduced,the difference has statistical significance,but the difference in efficacy between the two groups is no statistically significant;the follow-up period of the first and second menstrual cycles after stopping the drug,the scores of the above indicators and before treatment in the two groups decreased,and the difference in curative effect was statistically significant.and the effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.Conclusion: Wenshen Tongluo Decoction has a definite clinical short-term and long term effect on treating primary dysmenorrhea of Deficiency-Cold type.It can significantly improve the degree and duration of abdominal pain and the symptoms and signs associated with dysmenorrhea.It is safe and can be used and promoted in clinical practice.
