Clinical Study On Metabolism Disorder Of Phlegm-dampness And Blood Stasis Polycystic Ovary Syndrome With Shoushen Tiaojing Decoction Combined With Metformin

Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of Shoushen Tiaojing Decoction combined with metformin in improving metabolic disorders of phlegm-dampness and blood-stasis type polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS),in order to provide a scientific basis for the treatment of this disease by Shoushen Tiaojing Decoction combined with metformin,and to explore the therapeutic mechanism of this prescription in the treatment of PCOSMethods:In this study,72 patients diagnosed with phlegm-dampness and blood-stasis polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)were collected from the outpatient department of Shanxi Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from November 2019 to November 2020.According to random number table method,they were divided into experimental group and control group,36 cases in each.Experimental group:oral shoushen tiaojing decoction combined with metformin.Control group:oral metformin Method of taking Tiaojing Decoction combined with metformin:1 dose a day,take separately in the morning and evening,stop medication during menstrual period;Direction of metformin tablet:500mg each time,three times a day.One course of treatment was 1 month,and there were 3 courses of treatment.If menstruation is more than 35 days during the medication period and the patient still gets wet,the patient is given progesterone capsule withdrawal.The improvement of symptoms,TCM syndrome score,metabolic index(body mass index,waist-hip ratio,insulin resistance index)and serum testosterone in 2 groups before and after treatment was observed,and statistical analysis was performed using SPSS25.0Results:(1)Inclusion:72 patients were included in this study.In the experimental group(Shoushen Tiaojing Decoction combined with metformin Tablet),a total of 36 patients were included,and 1 patient fell off.In the control group(metformin tablet),there were 36 cases,and 3 cases abscission(2)Comparison of total efficacy:the total effective rate of the experimental group and the control group was 91.43%and 69.70%,respectively,and the total efficacy of the experimental group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05)(3)Comparison of syndrome score:syndrome analysis could be improved in both groups,and the improvement of syndrome score in experimental group was better than that in control group(P<0.05)(4)Comparison of metabolic indexes:both groups could improve body mass index,waist-hip ratio and insulin resistance index,and the experimental group was better than the control group in improving metabolic index(P<0.05)(5)Comparison of serum testosterone value:both groups could decrease the serum testosterone value,and the decrease of serum testosterone value in experimental group was better than that in control group(P<0.05)(6)After treatment,there were no obvious abnormalities in blood routine,urine routine,liver function,blood kidney function and electrocardiogram in both groupsConclusion:(1)The combination of shoushen tiaojing decoction and metformin tablet can effectively improve the TCM syndromes of phlegm-dampness and blood-stasis type polycystic ovary syndrome(menstrual cycle,menstrual volume,menstrual clots,body obesity,chest and abdomen full of pups,dry mouth and unwillingness to drink,diarrhea,etc.)(2)Shoushen Tiaojing Decoction combined with metformin tablets can effectively improve the metabolic index(body mass index,waist-hip ratio,insulin resistance index)and serum testosterone value of polycystic ovary syndrome with phutm-dampness and blood stasis.(3)Shoushen Tiaojing Decoction combined with metformin tablets has good safety in the treatment of phlegm-dampness and blood-stasis type polycystic ovary syndrome,which is worthy of promotion.
