Cancer is a disease that seriously threatens human health and life.Hospice care for cancer patients not only has medical significance,but also has ethical significance.It is also a concern of social work.During the internship,the author discovered that the vast majority of rural terminal cancer patients would choose to stay at home on their deathbeds.This phenomenon has greatly attracted the author’s interest.In addition,the author found through consulting related literature that the current academic research in my country is mainly focused on the physical care and emotional attention of cancer patients in professional hospitals or institutions,and less attention is paid to the hospice care services of patients at home.In addition,the current research in my country Little attention has been paid to research on building a social support network for patients with terminal cancer.Based on this,this study aims to answer the following questions:First,what is the current situation of home hospice care for patients with terminal cancer in rural areas?What are the problems in the service process?Second,what are the reasons for these problems?Third,how to build a social support network for patients with terminal cancer in rural areas?This article adopts the method of length interviews to conduct length interviews with 10 rural terminal cancer patients and their families.Based on the analysis of interview data,it is found that the vast majority of rural patients with terminal cancer will choose to stay at home on their deathbed.These terminal cancer patients are generally older,the patients themselves and their relatives have low income levels,and the patients themselves have a relatively low level of education.Through the analysis of the current status of home hospice care for terminal cancer patients in rural areas,we understand that there is almost a blank in the current home hospice care for terminal cancer patients in rural areas,the only care services are not professional,and social work services lack long-term mechanisms.Social services Issues such as commercialization and the inability of patients to bear the cost of services.The main reasons are the following aspects:the public lacks awareness and attention to the hospice problem;the current lack of professional hospice service personnel;the lack of institutional guarantees and financial support;the lack of volunteers.Based on the above analysis,this article explores the construction of a social support network for terminal cancer patients in order to improve the level of care at home for terminal cancer patients in rural areas.The government must increase financial support,include hospice care into the scope of medical insurance,and adopt various forms to support the development of hospice care;mobilize social forces,expand social support for hospice care,raise funds through multiple channels,and mobilize people from all walks of life To participate in the dedication of love;to strengthen publicity and education and public education to strengthen the correct understanding of "death";to strengthen the training of professional talents,and train a group of pain management experts,psychiatrists,pharmacists,nutritionists,and nutritionists with professional skills.Rehabilitation physiotherapists,volunteers,social workers,etc.;it is necessary to improve the voluntary service system and cultivate a group of professional volunteers with strong psychological quality,good endurance ability,good communication skills and empathy;to increase family
