Objective:To observe the clinical nursing effect of massage as adjuvant therapy for children in indigestion diarrhea, and provide a better method for clinical treatment and nursing of children with diarrhea. Methods:In this study,we randomly selected children who visit the Pediatric Traditional Chinese Medicine Treatment Room of A Grade 3A Hospital in Shandong Province from October 2019 to October 2020.A total of 100 indigestion diarrhea children who met the inclusion criteria were selected and 50 cases were randomly selected as the experimental group and 50 cases as the control group. Before the beginning of the project, the relevant personnel involved in the study were trained and assigned tasks, and were given unified guidance in language and treatment methods. Both groups were treated with oral montmorillonite powder and Clostridium butyricum dulion live bacteria powder. On this basis, the control group was given massage for treatment.Massage is specific for kneading spleen meridian,Nei Bagua Acupoint, and rubbing abdomen 300 times each;stomach meridian, large intestine meridian and Six Fu Acupoint 200 times and the Turtle Tail Acupoint 100 times. For patients with severe abdominal pain,we massaged Pishu and Weishu Acupoint 100 times and rubbed belly horn 3 times for severe abdominal pain patients and tianzhu bone 200 times for frequent vomiting. Both groups were treated with 3 days as a course of treatment, and a total of two courses were treated. All enrolled children were evaluated for TCM syndrome symptoms and signs before treatment,3days and 6days after treatment. The adverse reactions and fecal remission time of the children were observed and recorded.Satisfaction evaluation was conducted at the end of treatment. The data of the children were collected and analyzed statistically by SPSS24.0.Results1.Comparison of Traditional Chinese Medicine syndrome and symptom scores:there were statistically significant differences in the scores of primary symptoms, secondary symptoms and total score between the two groups after 3 days and 6 days of treatment compared with those before treatment(P<0.05).After 3 days of treatment, the improvement in scores of the experimental group was statistically significant compared with the control group(P<0.05);After 6 days of treatment, the statistical difference between the two groups remained(P<0.05).2.Comparison of main syndrome and symptom scores between the two groups after treatment:①Comparison of treatment after 3 days:In the control group, the scores of fecal frequency, fecal character, odor and fecal volume were improved statistically(P<0.05).The improvement in stool texture scores was not statistically significant compared with pre-treatment(P>0.05).In the experimental group, the improvement in scores of all main signs was statistically significant(P<0.05).② Comparison of treatment after 6 days:There was a significant difference between the two groups in improving the scores of the children’s main signs(P<0.05).Both groups were compared respectively and the results were statistically different(P<0.05).3.Comparison of scores of secondary symptoms and signs between the two groups after treatment③ Comparison of 3 days after treatment:the scores of abdominal pain and appetite in the control group was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the score of abdominal distension, mental stress, thirst, urination and vomiting compared with those before treatment(P>0.05).The improvement of scores in the experimental group was statistically significant compared with that before treatment(P<0.05).The results of the two groups were compared and there were statistically significant(P<0.05).② Comparison of 6 days after treatment:Compared with before treatment, the score of abdominal distension, abdominal pain, appetite, vomiting and urination in the control group was statistically significant(P<0.05).The difference was not statistically significant in the improvement of mental and thirst scores compared with Pretreatment(P>0.05).The scores in the experimental group were statistically significant compared with that before treatment(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in the improvement of three.indexes of abdominal pain, abdominal distension and vomiting(P>0.05),and there were significant differences in appetite, thirst, urination and mental state(P<0.05).3.Comparison of therapeutic efficacy between the two groups:①Comparison of 3 days after treatment:The efficiency of the two groups was 97.9%and 85.4%respectively.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).② Comparison of 6 days after treatment:The operation efficiency of the two groups were 100%and 93.7%respectively.The performance indexes of the two groups were comparable, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).5.Comparison of the diarrhea remission time between the two groups:the diarrhea remission time in the experimental group was 1.724±1.000 days, and the diarrhea remission time in the observation group was 2.656±1.772 days.6.Comparison of satisfaction scores between the two groups after treatment:there was statistical difference in satisfaction scores between the two groups(P<0.05).7.Safety evaluation:During the treatment, the vital signs of the two groups were stable. The experimental group and the control group did not appear gastrointestinal discomfort and other allergic reactions. There was no skin damage, red itching and other uncomfortable phenomenon in the process of massage operation. Conclusion:Massage therapy can significantly improve the TCM syndrome and symptom scores in children with indigestion diarrhea. It can effectively shorten the relief time of indigestion diarrhea in children with high safety, and can improve the satisfaction of parents with medical care services.
