| Objective: To observe and analyze the effects of Chaihu Guizhiganjiang Decoction Jiaweifang combined with Apatinib in the treatment of advanced gastric cancer patients with liver depression and spleen deficiency from the aspects of the efficacy of TCM syndromes,tumor markers,solid tumors,physical condition scores,and adverse reactions.The clinical efficacy provides new ideas and methods for the treatment of advanced gastric cancer patients with integrated Chinese and Western medicine.Methods: In this study,from January 2018 to October 2019,60 patients with advanced gastric cancer who were eligible for enrollment in the tumor clinic and hospitalization of Shijiazhuang City Hospital were divided into treatment group and control group according to random number table method.There were 30 cases in each group,and the control group was given a single drug apatinib 0.5g orally;the treatment group added the traditional Chinese medicine Chaihu Guizhiganjiang Decoction Jiaweifang on the basis of the control group,taking 4 weeks as a treatment cycle,a total of 2 observations were made cycle.Observe and record the changes of the two groups in the efficacy of TCM syndromes,tumor markers,solid tumors,physical condition scores,adverse reactions,etc.All data were statistically analyzed using statistical software SPSS25.0.Results: One case of the control group fell out during the course of this study,and the rest of the data was complete.(1)The curative effect of TCM syndromes: 76.67% in the treatment group and 48.28% in the controlgroup.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of abdominal distension,emotional depression or irritability,irritability,loose stools,and fatigue were compared between the two groups(P<0.05).(2)Tumor markers: The difference between the two groups before and after the treatment of CEA,CA199,and CA724 was statistically significant(P<0.05),but the difference between the two groups of CEA,CA199,and CA724 after treatment was not statistically significant(P>0.05).(3)The efficacy of solid tumors: the objective response rate(ORR)of the treatment group was30%,the disease control rate(DCR)was 83.33%;the objective response rate(ORR)of the control group was 24.14%;the disease control rate(DCR)was 79.31 %,compared between the two groups,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).(4)Physical condition score: The difference between the KPS scores before and after treatment in the treatment group was statistically significant(P<0.05);the comparison between the KPS scores before and after treatment in the control group was not statistically significant(P>0.05).After treatment,the difference between the two groups in KPS score was statistically significant(P<0.05).(5)Adverse reactions: after treatment,nausea,vomiting,diarrhea,and hemoglobin reduction between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05);hypertension,hand and foot syndrome,proteinuria,leukopenia,and thrombocytopenia Compared with each other,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:(1)Chaihu Guizhiganjiang Decoction Jiaweifang combined with apatinib in the treatment of advanced gastric cancer can improve clinical symptoms,improve physical condition,and improve patients’ quality of life.(2)Modified Chaihu Guizhiganjiang Decoction Jiaweifang can reduce the side effects after taking apatinib to a certain extent,play a synergistic and detoxifying role,and can be used in clinical practice. |
