The Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Early Stage Of Parkinson’s Disease(Spleen Phlegm Type) By Shengyang Yiwei Granules

Objective: To investigate the clinical effect of the treatment of early stage of Parkinson’s disease(Spleen phlegm type)by Shengyang Yiwei granules.Methods: During October 1st 2017 to September 30 st 2019,66 cases of Parkinson patients were recruited in the Department of Neurology and Ward of the second affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of traditional Chinese Medicine.Randomly divided into control group(n = 33)and treatment group(n = 33)by SPSS21.0.The control group was given basic treatment of Western Medicine,and the treatment group was treated with Shengyang Yiwei granules on the basis of the control group.Comparison of the changes of TCM syndrome score,modified Hoehn-Yahr rating scale(H-Y),unified Parkinson’s disease rating scale of Movement Disorder Society(MDS-UPDRS Ⅰ&Ⅱ&Ⅲ)partial score,Parkinson’s disease quality of Life questionnaire-39(PDQ-39),the serum levels of homocysteine(Hcy)and uric acid(UA)level before and after treatment.All clinical data were analyzed by SPSS21.0 software.Results:(1)Finally,63 cases were completed according to the protocol:31 cases in control group and 32 cases in treatment group;No adverse reactions occurred during the study.(2)There was no significant difference in H-Y stage between the two groups before and after treatment(P>0.05);The improvement of the treatment group was better than that of the control group in TCM syndrome score,MDS-UPDRS Ⅰ&Ⅱ&Ⅲ partial score,PDQ-39 scores,and the level of serum uric acid and homocysteine(P<0.05 or P<0.01).The improvement of MDS-UPDRS Ⅰ Ⅱ part is more obvious than that of MDS-UPDRSⅢ.(3)After treatment,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 87.5%,which was significantly higher than that of the control group(74.2%).Conclusion: In the treatment of early stage of PD with Spleen phlegm type,Shengyang Yiwei granules could play an important role in improving the clinical symptoms,non motor symptoms in particular,and improving the serum uric acid and homocysteine level.It can also increase the quality of patient’s life.
