| Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Quyutongluo decoction combined with traditional Chinese medicine massage on rehabilitation after total knee arthroplasty,to better alleviate the postoperative limb traumatic reaction and promote the patient’s rapid recovery.Methods:This study was based on pre-established inclusion and exclusion criteria.From March 2019 to January 2020,patients with knee osteoarthritis who underwent initial unilateral total knee arthroplasty in the Department of Orthopedics,Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.Patients were selected as the study subjects,and 80 patients were randomly divided into four groups,each group consisting of 20 people.Control group:routine treatment after surgery.Chinese medicine group:on the basis of routine treatment in the control group,oral administration of Quyutongluo decoction was started on the second day after operation,and continued to be taken for 7 days.Massage group:the control group was given massage therapy on the 2nd day on the basis of routine treatment for 7 days.Combined group:control group plus traditional Chinese medicine group and massage group combined therapy.Observe and record the VAS scores,knee joint mobility,10 cm swelling diameter above and below the patella,and HSS function scores of the knees in the four groups on the 2nd,5th and 7th days after surgery.All data were analyzed using SPSS 20.0 statistical software.Results:(1)There was no significant difference in age,gender,surgical site,and body mass index between the four groups of patients(P>0.05).(2)Knee joint activity: There was no significant difference between the four groups on the second day after surgery(P>0.05).On the 5th and 7th day after surgery,there was a significant difference between the combined group greater than the massage group,the traditional Chinese medicine group,and the control group(P<0.05),and there was a significant difference between the traditional Chinese medicine group and the massage group larger than the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the massage group and the Chinese medicine group(P>0.05).(3)Visual analogue scale: On the second day after operation,there was no significant difference between the four groups(P>0.05).On the 5th and7 th days after surgery,the combination group was significantly lower than the control group,the Chinese medicine group,and the massage group(P <0.05),and the Chinese medicine group and the massage group were significantly lower than the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the traditional Chinese medicine group and the massage group(P>0.05).(4)10cm swelling circumference above and below patella:On the second day after operation,there was no significant difference between the four groups(P>0.05).On the 5th and 7th day after surgery,there was a significant difference between the combined group and the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the other groups(P>0.05)(5)Hospital for special surgery knee score: On the second day after operation,there was no significant difference between the four groups(P>0.05).On the 5th day after surgery,there was a significant difference between the combined group and the control group(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference between the other groups(P>0.05).On the 7th day after surgery,the combined group was significantly higher than the control group,the Chinese medicine group,and the massage group(P<0.05),and the other groups were not significantly different(P>0.05).Conclusion:Quyutongluo decoction combined with traditional Chinese medicine massage can obviously relieve the pain and swelling after the first total knee arthroplasty,improve the joint activity and function,and can quickly promote the postoperative rehabilitation,which is better than the single application of Quyutongluo decoction or massage treatment,and is worthy of clinical promotion. |
