The Clinical Observation About Taking Orally The QuyuTongluo Have An Effect On Limb Swelling After Total Hip Arthroplasty

Objective:To explore the efficacy and principle of QuyuTongluo decoction for limb pain after artificial Total Hip Arthroplasty(THA)and observe the clinical effect of the decoction.Methods:From April 2018 to February 2019,60 patients with Osteonecrosis of the Femeral Head and the first THA operation in the Joint Department of orthopedics that Hospital of Shandong Traditional Chinese Medicine University.They were randomly divided into two groups:an experimental group and a control group with 30 patients in each group.Both groups were given routine treatment and rehabilitation training.In addition to routine post-operative treatment and training,the experimental group also needed to take Quyu Tongluo prescription orally the next day after the operation.The oral method was to take a pair of Chinese medicine daily from the second day after the operation and take it half an hour after breakfast and dinner for seven days.Measuring and recording VAS scores of hip joint movement and rest on the 1st,3rd and 7th day after operation,swelling degree of affected limbs on the 1st,3rd and 7th day after operation,CRP and ESR on the 1st,3rd and 7th day after operation.Using SPSS 19.0 statistical software to analyze the recorded data,and the results were expressed in the form of X+S.Results:1.There was no statistical significance in the VAS scores of hip joint movement and rest between the two groups on the first day after operation(P>0.05),but the VAS scores of exercise and rest on the third and seventh day after operation had statistical significance(P<0.05),and the scores of the experimental group were much better than the control group.2.There was no statistical significance in measuring the swelling degree of the affected limbs on the 1st day(P>0.05),but on the 3rd and 7th day(P<0.05),the swelling degree of the affected limbs was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05),and the swelling degree of the experimental group was much higher than that of the control group.3.There was no significant difference in CRP and ESR between the two groups on the first day after operation(P>0.05),but there was significant difference on the third and seventh day after operation(P<0.05),and the results of CRP and ESR in the experimental group were much better than those in the control group.Conclusion:After operation,Oral Quyu Tongluo Decoction can effectively improve the swelling degree of limbs,and effectively control the inflammatory index after operation,improve the recovery rate of early patients after operation,reduce the probability of complications after THA operation,and improve the function of joint movement after operation.Furthermore,the Chinese medicine has little side effects and high safety factor for patients,so it should be vigorously used in clinical practice.
