| Objective:To observe the effect and clinical effect of TCM massage on rehabilitation after TKA,and to explore the effect of TCM massage on rapid rehabilitation after TKA,so as to provide basis for clinical application.Methods:From February 2017 to December 2017,50 patients with unilateral total knee arthroplasty were selected,including 19 males and 31 females,aged between 64 and 84,with an average age of 70.1 years.All patients were randomly divided into the control group and the experimental group with 25 cases in each group by SPSS software.The patients were interviewed before operation and signed the informed consent.The same group of surgical team underwent unilateral total knee arthroplasty.The control group was treated with routine rehabilitation program after operation,and the experimental group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine massage program on the basis of traditional rehabilitation program.The experimental group and the control group were given VAS pain score and leg circumference measurement on the first,third and seventh day after operation respectively.The activity of affected limbs was measured at discharge and HSS score was parallel.HSS score was followed up for one month after operation.The data were processed and analyzed by SPSS 23.0,and the conclusion was drawn.Results:① There was no statistical difference in swelling results between the experimental group and the control group on the first day after operation(p=0.1);on the third and seventh days after operation(p<0.05),there was significant difference in the circumference of the lower leg between the experimental group and the control group on the third and seventh day.The results showed that the application of TCM massage could accelerate the blood circulation of the patients’ limbs and reduce the degree of swelling of the affected limbs.②Before ROM operation,t-test between the two groups was p>0.05,and there was no statistical difference.On the 7th day after operation,the average ROM of the experimental group was 96.00 degrees.The ROM of the control group was 85.30 degrees,P=0.00(p<0.05).The ROM of the knee joint of the experimental group and the control group was significantly different,and the experimental group was significantly better than the control group.③ VAS score p=0.11(p>0.05)on the first day after operation in the two groups had no statistical difference and no comparability;VAS score p<0.05(p=0.02,p=0.01)on the third and seventh day after operation in the experimental group and the control group,and the pain control and recovery progress of the experimental group was better than that of the control group.④There was no significant difference in HSS score between the experimental group and the control group before operation(p>0.05).One week after operation,the HSS score of the two groups was p=0.03(p<0.05).The difference between the two groups was significant and the joint function of the experimental group was better than that of the control group.One month after operation,the HSS score of the two groups was significantly different,and the experimental group was better than that of the control group.Conclusion:By pressing acupoints and relaxing muscles,TCM massage can improve the range of motion of patients’ joints.TCM massage can improve the blood flow of lower limbs,prevent venous congestion of lower limbs,and reduce the incidence of deep venous thrombosis.Acupoint massage can effectively alleviate the degree of swelling of affected limbs after operation and the pain in rehabilitation.At the same time,in the process of applying traditional Chinese medicine massage,doctor-patient communication and cooperation have a positive effect on patients’ self-rehabilitation after discharge.The application of traditional Chinese medicine massage after TKA can accelerate the recovery of patients,shorten the hospitalization time of patients,and the operation is simple.It is worthy of clinical application and research. |
