Clinical Study On Treatment Of Acute Peripheral Facial Paralysis About Zhengxu Xiezhong Type With Yiqi Tongluo Method

Objective:By observing the changes of House-Brackmann(H-B)facial nerve function scale score and grade,and the score of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)before and after treatment,the therapeutic effect of peripheral facial paralysis(zhengxu xiezhonng type)in the acute phase of Yiqi Tongluo was evaluated.Methods:A total of 78 Patients with peripheral facial paralysis who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were selected and randomly divided into treatment group(n=39)and control group(n=39).The control group was treated with antiviral,hormone,trophic nerve and other basic western medicine treatment,and the treatment group was treated with Yiqi Tongluo method(Qianzheng Sanhe Yupingfeng powder)on the basis of the treatment.The House-Brackmann(H-B)facial nerve function score and grade,and the score change of the TCM symptom score scale were observed before treatment,2 weeks after treatment and 4 weeks after follow-up in the two groups.SPSS 22.0 statistical software was used for data analysis.After the normality test of measurement data,the paired sample t test was used for the comparison within the group of data that met the normal distribution,and the independent sample t test was used;the Wilcoxon signed rank sum test was used for the comparison within the group of data that did not meet the normal distribution,and the Mann-WhitneyU test was used for the comparison.Rank sum test was used for grade data and chi-square test was used for enumeration data.P<0.05 indicated a significant difference,and P<0.01 had a very significant difference.Results:1.There was no significant difference in sex,age,course of disease,H-B score and grade,and TCM symPtom score between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),with comparability.2.After treatment,the H-B score and grade,the score of eccentric TCM symptoms in the two groups were improved at each time point.According to the statistical analysis,the improvement effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P>0.05).3.Before and after treatment,the blood routine,liver function,renal function safety indicators of the two groups of patients by paired t-test P>0.05,indicating that the method of supplementing qi and dredging collaterals is safe in the treatment of moderate peripheral facial paralysis due to deficiency and evil,without adverse damage to the human body.Conclusion:Yiqi Tongluo therapy is safe and effective in the treatment of acute peripheral facial paralysis.It can significantly improve the H-B score,reduce the H-B grade,reduce the TCM symptom score and improve the prognosis of patients.
