| The establishment of permanent dentition starts from the eruption of the first permanent molar to the completion of the root development of the second permanent molar.This process spans the school age of 6-12 years and the puberty to 20 years later.Due to the correlation between dentition growth and age,during these two periods,both the young permanent teeth and the permanent ones with mature morphology and structure was existed in the oral cavity together.It is easier to lead to pulp lesions and have sign of periapical lesions and even missing teeth eventually,on account of its unique anatomical structure and combined action of direct cariogenic factors such as cariogenic bacteria and sugars,unconnected cariogenic factors that related to physical and chemical factors such as carbonated beverages,trauma,etc.Therefore,for the school age or adolescence patients’ mastication,the inducation of pronunciation habit,soft and hard tissues in the maxillofacial region developed coordinationly and maintaining theirs mental health is crucial to protect and treatment the immature permanent teeth and mature ones in permanent dentition timely.Case 1,in this essay,by the way of helping 46 eruption actively and removing partly infected pulp to conserve the vital pulp and the affected tooth has successfully erupted,in addition,the roots continue to develop.Case 2 For the left upper anterior avulsion teeth with root absorption were treated conservatively by root canal treatment,during the follow-up,the retion of tooth was good and absorption had given out.In case 3,the apical foreign body in the left upper anterior tooth was take out by endodontis surgery,months after operation,the swelling wore away and the tooth could perform normal functions.The three cases obey the treatment principles of permanent teeth in school age and adolescence:try to preserve vital pulp,and try to conservation teeth for those who can not preserve any healthy pulp. |
