【Objective】To investigate the effects of aerobic combined resistance exercise intervention on dialysis for 6 months on the debilitating state, dialysis adequacy and quality of life in patients with maintenance hemodialysis.【Methods】A quasi-experiment study was used in this study.64 patients on hemodialysis were recruited from hemopurification centers of the first affiliated Hospital of Hainan Medical College. The patients were divided into intervention group(n=32)and control group(n=32)according to the duration of dialysis. The control group received regular health education and exercise instruction, and the intervention group was given a low-to-moderate-intensity aerobic combined resistance exercise intervention for 6 months.Intervention measures: Perform aerobic combined resistance training within two hours before the start of dialysis,20~30 minutes during per time,3 times a week, and select a suitable sandbag as resistance.Outcome measures evaluated were:Hb,ALB,Kt/v,sit-to-stand-to-sit test, handgrip strength, gait pace,Tilburg frailty index, the Kidney Disease Questionnaire.【Results】This study has collected data of 59 patients including 30 of Intervention Group and 29 Control Group.1.Baseline condictiong of the two groups: There were no significant differences in demographic data, physiological indicators, physical indicators, debilitating scores and quality of life scores between the two groups of patients before intervention(P>0.05).2.Comparison of the TFI debilitating level between the two groups of patients:the intervention effect of the total TFI score of the intervention group and the control group was statistically significant(F=19.697,P<0.001);the intervention effect of the physiological dimension score(F=7.113,P=0.010)The intervention effect of psychological dimension score(F=4.975,P=0.030)was statistically significant;the intervention effect of social dimension score was not statistically significant(P>0.05).3.Comparison of physical measurement indexes between two groups of patients: the intervention effect of the intervention group and the control group(F=4.276,P= 0.043),STS-10(F=40.500,P<0.001),pace(F=4.550,P=0.037)were statistically significant(P<0.05).4.Comparison of physiological indicators between the two groups of patients:there was no statistically significant difference in the effects and interactions between the Hb and Alb groups in the intervention and control groups(P>0.05).The Kt/v of the intervention group was significantly higher than that of the control group(OR=2.67,P=0.031).5.Comparison of the quality of life scores between the two groups of patients:the intervention effect of the total quality of life score of the intervention group and the control group was statistically significant(F=6.014,P=0.017);the intervention effect of the physical symptoms score(F=5.466,P=0.023),The intervention effect of fatigue score(F=5.351,P=0.024),the depression mood score(F=4.580,P=0.037)were statistically significant;the intervention effect of interpersonal relationship score and frustration score were not statistically significant(P>0.05).【Conclusions】1.Aerobic combined with resistance exercise can improve the level of weakness in patients with frailty maintenance hemodialysis.Among them,it can significantly improve the level of physical frailty and psychological frailty in patients.Further research is needed for social frailty.2.Aerobic combined with resistance exercise can enhance the muscle strength of the lower limbs of patients with frailty maintenance hemodialysis and improve the exercise ability of patients.3.Aerobic combined with resistance exercise can increase the rate of Kt/v compliance in patients with frailty maintenance hemodialysis.4.Aerobic combined with resistance exercise can improve the quality of life of patients with frailty maintenance hemodialysis.Among them,it can significantly improve patients’ physical, fatigue and depression. |
