Objective:Explore the impact of different demographic factors, disease characteristics,psycho-social factors, and proximal risk factors on suicidal ideation of hospitalized cancer patients. To explore the effect of different interventions on suicide-related symptoms, and to expand the guiding significance of interferable suicide risk factors for suicide prevention practice in hospitalized cancer patients. Methods:A cross-sectional survey was used to investigate the demographic factors, disease characteristics,measurement-related psycho-social factors, and proximal risk factors associated with suicidal ideation of hospitalized cancer patients.Independent sample t test was used to analyze the influence of demographic factors and disease characteristics on suicidal ideation. The effects of psycho-social factors and proximal risk factors on suicidal ideation measured by mediation effect analysis.Random forest algorithm was used to explore the importance of different suicide risk factors in evaluating suicidal ideation.Compare the effects of different interventions on suicide-related symptoms of cancer patients through network meta-analysis.Use SPSS 26,Mplus8,R language to complete the analysis.Results:1.A cross-sectional survey of suicide risk factors for hospitalized cancer patients(1)Among the 293 hospitalized cancer patients, the male to female ratio was 51:49,and the average age was 54.31 years(SD=12.74).Among them, the suicidal ideation of patients in the 45-60 age group, unmarried, rural areas, migrant workers, and low-income level was significantly higher than that of other groups(P<0.01).The cancer patients of gynecology, abdomen, chest, stage 4,and with a disease course of more than three years were significantly higher than other groups(P<0.01).(2)Among the effects of depression, anxiety and psychological distress on suicidal ideation of cancer patients, the mediating effects of perceived burdensomeness and thwarted belongingness were 16.0%,30.9%and 26.3%,respectively.(3)Perceived burdensomeness, psychological distress, depression play an important role in the evaluation of suicidal ideation.2.Suicide prevention intervention strategies for hospitalized cancer patients(1)Network meta-analysis initially retrieved 2570 articles, and finally included 16articles,involving a total of 2813 patients with a male to female ratio of 38:72.The DIC difference between the consistency model and the inconsistency model of different results is within 5 and the overall consistency parameter I~2of all outcomes does not exceed 50%.(2)The specific intervention effects of different intervention measures on suicide-related outcomes,psycho-social factors, proximal risk factors, and symptoms-related factors are different.Conclusion:1.The impact of suicide risk factors on suicidal ideation of hospitalized cancer patients(1)Age,marital status, residence, occupation, income, type of cancer, cancer stage, etc.,as risk factors for suicide, promote the suicidal ideation of hospitalized cancer patients.(2)Perceived burdensomeness and thwarted belongingness as intermediary effects promote the increase of depression, anxiety and psychological distress to suicide risk, and the corresponding effect levels are different.(3)The importance of the key characteristics of the proximal risk factors,psycho-social factors, disease characteristic factors, and demographic factors in the evaluation of patients’suicidal ideation is decreasing in order. And the importance reference value of the proximal risk factors,psycho-social factors is higher than disease characteristics, demographic factors.2.Suicide prevention intervention strategies for hospitalized cancer patients(1)Dignity therapy, physical therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and telephone-based symptom management have corresponding advantages in improving suicide-related outcomes,symptom-related factors,psycho-social factors, and proximal risk factors for cancer patients.Oncology nurse can choose the appropriate intervention based on the interferable suicide risk factors.(2)It is recommended that oncology nurses adopt continuous management and modular intervention strategies for patients with suicide risk,in order to reduce the physical and mental pain of cancer patients, restore social connections, and protect life safety.
