ObjectiveTo explore the clinical effect and mechanism of Panax Notoginsenoside capsule in the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy.MethodsFrom October 2017 to September 2018,100 patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy were selected and divided into treatment group and control group with 50 cases in each group according to different medication schemes.The control group was given Mecobalamin orally,and the treatment group was given Mecobalamin + Panax Notoginsenoside capsule combined treatment for one month.The indexes of oxidative stress,inflammatory reaction,bilirubin,iron ion,nerve function recovery,nerve conduction velocity and vibration sensory threshold were compared before and after treatment.Results1.Compared with the two groups,GSH-Px and SOD in the treatment group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P< 0.05),ROS,MDA and MDA in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P< 0.05).2.After treatment,the levels of serum high sensitive C-reactive protein(hs CRP),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-1(IL-1)and interleukin-6(IL-6)in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P< 0.05).3.After treatment,the total bilirubin(TBIL),direct bilirubin(DBIL)and indirect bilirubin(ibil)in the treatment group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P< 0.05).4.After treatment,the levels of Ferri and HEPC in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P< 0.05),and the differences between the two groups were not statistically significant(P> 0.05).5.After treatment,NDS and TCSs in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P< 0.05).6.The SNCV,SNCV,MNCV and MNCV in the treatment group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P< 0.05).7.After treatment,the VPT score of the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P< 0.05).8.There were no significant adverse reactions in both groups.ConclusionsPanax notoginseng saponin capsules can effectively improve the clinical efficacy of patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy,reduce oxidative stress and inflammatory factor levels,improve bilirubin levels,iron ion levels,nerve function and VPT levels,and have higher safety.This may be related to the mechanism of panax notoginseng saponins involved in oxidative stress and inflammatory response damage. |
