Clinical Observation Of Insomnia In Tumor Patients Treated With Wuyin Decoction

Objective: In this study,a randomized controlled clinical trial was conducted on insomnia patients with qi-deficiency and blood-stasis type malignant tumor,and empirical prescription "wuyin decoction" was used as the experimental drug to explore its effectiveness in the treatment of insomnia with qi-deficiency and blood-stasis type malignant tumor through standardized clinical studies,so as to further guide clinical practice.Methods: A total of 100 patients with insomnia due to qi-deficiency and blood stasis were randomly selected from the outpatient department of oncology of Weihai Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from April 2018 to January 2019,and they were randomly divided into observation group and control group.Each group has 50 cases.The observation group was given wuyin decoction,while the control group was given alprazolam tablets.Patients’ Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)scale,Physical Condition Rating scale(KPS)and Depression Self-rating scale(SDS)will be scored and recorded before and after the treatment.Finally,SPSS20.0 software was used for statistical analysis.Results:(1)The changes of PSQI,KPS and SDS scores in the two groups after treatment were statistically significant compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),indicating that both treatments can improve patients’ sleep quality,physical condition and depression.(2)Comparison of PSQI,KPS and SDS scores after treatment showed that three components of PSQI(sleep quality,sleep time and daytime function)and KPS scores in the observation group showed statistically significant changes(P<0.05),indicating that wuyin decoction has a good effect on improving sleep quality,sleep time,daytime function and physical condition.(3)At the end of the treatment,there was no significant difference in the efficacy between the two groups(P>0.05),indicating that the two treatment methodshad similar efficacy.(4)At the end of treatment,adverse reactions in the observation group and the control group were statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the incidence of adverse reactions of wuyin decoction was significantly lower than that of alprazolam.Conclusion: Wuyin decoction and alprazolam tablets can all improve the deficiency of blood stasis type of tumor patients with insomnia,physical condition and depressed mood,and these two methods are equally effective in treating insomnia.However,wuyin decoction was superior to alprazolam in improving sleep and physical conditions,and the incidence of adverse reactions was lower than that of alprazolam.
