To Investigate The Effect Of Ditan Decoction On Carotid Atherosclerosis Based On The Theory Of Body Differentiation And Treatment

Purpose: By observing the effect of Ditan Decoction on carotid atherosclerosis caused by phlegm dampness,this paper discusses the intervention effect of eliminating dampness and eliminating phlegm on carotid atherosclerosis based on the theory of differentiation of body,with a view to finding a better treatment plan for patients with carotid atherosclerosis.Methods: In this study,80 patients with carotid atherosclerosis were randomly divided into two groups: the treatment group(observation group)and the control group(atorvastatin calcium tablet)with the highest score of phlegm-dampness or blood-stasis but with the same score of phlegm-dampness and blood-stasis.The scores of TCM constitution,neck blood vessel color Doppler ultrasound,TC,TG,LDL and other indexes were observed before and after 8 weeks of treatment.After scientific statistics,the clinical efficacy of the two treatment methods was analyzed.Results: After statistical analysis,there was no significant difference in general condition,phlegm and dampness score and blood lipid between the two groups before treatment.after taking a course of treatment,there was significant difference in phlegm and dampness score and blood lipid between the two groups(p<0.05),and there was no significant change in carotid intima-media thickness(IMT),while the treatment group had obvious advantages in reducing body mass score compared with the control group(p<0.05).Conclusion: Both Chinese medicine Ditan Decoction and western medicine Atorvastatin Calcium Tablets have the effects of preventing and treating carotid atherosclerosis and plaque formation and development and reducing blood lipid levels,and both can improve patients’ physical condition and reduce biased physical scores to a certain extent.However,traditional Chinese medicine is more effective in improving patients’ biased physical condition and reducing physical score,and can avoid possible damage to liver and kidney function caused by taking western medicine.Therefore,it has more advantages in the safety and effectiveness of treatment and has positive significance in preventing and treating carotid atherosclerosis and plaque formation.
