| ObjectiveTo explore the effect of persicae semen extract on promoting fracture healing and evaluate the curative effect via varies testing measurements,including X-ray,Micro-CT,Histomorphometry and so on.MethedThe C57BL/6 mouse was choose in this experiment,all of them were operated a unilateral open tibiae transverse fracture with intramedullary needle fixation model.After the operation,X-ray was used to sure a qualified fracture model was established,then the qualified were divided into 2 groups 5 time points randomly.The taoren and model group were treated with persicae semen extract and saline respectively.The characteristics of bone fracture healing of different groups were serially analyzed and compared by X-ray,Micro-CT,Histomorphometry.The observation of body weights,mobility were included.Time points were set by day 4,7,10,14,21 postoperatively.Result1.X-ray results show blurry degree of fracture lines at day 10 and 21 postoperatively in mice treated with persicae semen extract was significantly higher(P<0.05).2.Connectivity density of calluses on tibiae of Taoren group was significantly higher in comparison to model group by day 7,10,14,21 postoperatively(P<0.05).3.Callus mineralized volume fraction was significantly higher compared to model group by day 10,14,21 postoperatively(P<0.05).4.The cartilaginous callus fraction of both group reached peak level by day 7 and the level of Taoren group was significantly higher than the model one by day 7,10 postoperatively(P<0.05).5.New woven bone area of Taoren group was found significantly higher compared to the model group by day 14,21 postoperatively(P<0.05).6.The recovery period from tibiae fracture of Taoren group of body weights and mobility were shorter than the model one.Conclusion1.The persicae semen extract promots tibiae fracture healing of mouse.2.The persicae semen extract has the potential to relief the fracture symptoms and short the recovery period from tibiae fracture. |
