Purpose: To investigate the efficacy and safety of interventional therapy for type IV(cicatricial stenosis)tracheobronchial tuberculosis(TBTB),and to provide evidence-based basis for clinical practice. Methods: The general clinical data of 43 patients with type IV TBTB admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University from January 2017 to December 2019 were retrospectively collected, and the curative effects before and after treatment were compared and analyzed. The observation indexes included classification of clinical symptoms, stenosis lumen diameter, forced expiratory volume in one second(FEV1),m MRC score and atelectasis. The incidence of complications during treatment was recorded. Results:After a variety of airway intervention technology combined treatment, among the 43 cases,5 cases were markedly effective,30 cases were effective, the total effective rate was 81.40%.The airway diameter and FEV1 were higher than the level before treatment. The m MRC score after treatment was lower. The difference was statistically significant.Severe sputum retention and granulation hyperplasia occurred in 2 patients using stent implantation. No serious complications such as death or disability were found in all patients. Conclusions: Airway interventional therapy is generally effective for type IV TBTB,but we should pay attention to the safety.Especially when using stent treatment,we should do a good job in the treatment of related complications. |
