Clinical Observation On Taohong Siwu Decoction For Preoperative Swelling And Pain Of Closed Calcaneal Fracture

Objective:To explore the therapeutic effect of Taohong Siwu Decoction on swelling and pain relief of soft tissue in preparation for closed calcaneal fracture before operation.Methods: From February 2020 to February 2021,60 patients with Sanders II Sanders III calcaneal fractures who met the standard of surgical treatment in the Department of traumatic orthopedics of our hospital were collected and randomly divided into control group and experimental group.After admission,the two groups were treated with conventional treatment,such as cold treatment,foot elevation,oral western medicine detumescence,pain relief,stomach protection,while the experimental group was treated with Taohong Siwu Decoction on the basis of conventional treatment.The course of treatment started from the day of admission until before the operation.The difference of foot circumference,the time of dermatoglyphic appearance,the volume difference of "overflow method" and VAS score were recorded before medication,1 day,2 days,3 days and 5 days after medication.The above data were statistically analyzed by spss20.0 software.Through the follow-up of patients’ incision skin condition,the feasibility of shortening the preoperative detumescence time was observed It will increase the incidence of postoperative complications.Results:There were 28 patients in the control group,including 16 males and 12 females.There were 4,11,4 and 9 patients aged < 25,26-35,36-45 and 46-55,respectively In the experimental group,there were 29 cases,including 15 males and 14 females,aged < 25 years,26-35 years,36-45 years and 46-55 years,with 10 cases,5 cases,5 cases and 9 cases respectively.In the classification of calcaneal fractures,Sanders Ⅱ and Sanders Ⅲ were 18 cases and 11 cases respectively.There was no significant difference in gender,age and Sanders classification of calcaneal fractures between the two groups(P > 0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups(P > 0.05);there was no significant difference between the two groups(P > 0.05);there was no significant difference between the two groups(P > 0.05);there was no significant difference between the two groups(P > 0.05) There was significant difference between the two groups(P < 0.05);there was 1 case of poor wound healing in the follow-up of skin incision in the two groups,and there was no significant difference;there was no serious adverse reaction in the two groups.Conclusion: Taohong Siwu Decoction Combined with routine detumescence treatment for sanders type II and Sanders type III calcaneal fracture preoperative swelling can accelerate the swelling elimination speed through promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis,so as to shorten the preoperative preparation time.
