Clinical Study Of Bushen Huoxue Prescription Combined With Yasmin In The Treatment Of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome

Objective:By observing the clinical efficacy and safety of the method of Bushen Huoxue Prescription combined with Yasmin on patients with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome with kidney deficiency and blood stasis,we initially discussed the principle of the effect of this protocol on PCOS,and provided an objective basis for the clinical treatment of PCOS.Methods:Ninety-one patients with PCOS who attended the First Hospital of Wuhan City between December 2018 and August 2020 and were eligible for the kidney deficiency and blood stasis type were collected and divided into 45 patients in the treatment group and46 patients in the control group according to the randomized control principle.The treatment group was treated with the method of Bushen Huoxue Prescription combined with Yasmin,and the control group was treated with Yasmin,and both groups were treated for 3 menstrual cycles.The changes in Traditional Chinese Medicine symptoms score,hirsutism,acne,BMI,sex hormones,and AMH were observed before and after treatment in the two groups.The data obtained in this trial were statistically analyzed using SPSS version 25.0 software,and the clinical efficacy was evaluated by comparison before and after their treatment and between groups after treatment.Results:(1)Comparison of overall efficacy after treatment: the total effective rate of the treatment group was 88%,the total effective rate of the control group was 82%;the total effective rate of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).(2)Comparison of TCM symptoms scores before and after treatment:After the treatment,the TCM syndrome score decreased significantly in both groups,and the comparison within the groups was statistically significant(P < 0.01),and the TCM syndrome score decreased significantly in the treatment group compared with the control group,and the comparison between the groups was statistically significant(P < 0.01).(3)Comparison of hirsutism scores before and after treatment:There was no significant change in the hirsutism score in the treatment group after treatment,and there was no statistical significance in the within the group comparison(P > 0.05),while the hirsutism score in the control group decreased slightly,but there was no statistical significance in the within the group comparison(P > 0.05),and there was no statistical significance in the between-group comparison between the two groups(P > 0.05).(4)Comparison of acne score before and after treatment: Acne symptoms improved significantly in both groups after treatment,and the comparison within the group was statistically significant(P< 0.01),but the comparison between groups was not statistically significant(P > 0.05).(5)Comparison of BMI before and after treatment: After treatment,BMI decreased significantly in both groups,and the within the group comparison was statistically significant(P < 0.05),but the between-group comparison was not statistically significant(P >0.05).(6)Comparison of sex hormones before and after treatment: LH decreased significantly in both groups after treatment,and the differences between and within groups were statistically significant(P < 0.05);T: T decreased significantly in both groups after treatment,and the differences between groups were statistically significant(P < 0.01),but the differences between groups were not statistically significant(P > 0.05);E2: E2 decreased slightly in the treatment group after treatment,and the differences between groups were statistically significant(P <0.05),no significant change in E2 in the control group,no statistically significant difference between the two groups(P >0.05),no statistically significant difference between the two groups(P > 0.05);FSH: no significant change in FSH in the two groups after treatment,no statistically significant difference between the two groups(P > 0.05).(7)Comparison of AMH before and after treatment: AMH decreased slightly in both groups after treatment,but the differences were not statistically significant within and between groups(P >0.05).(8)Follow-up: Menstrual recovery: the total effective rate of the treatment group was 84.43%;the total effective rate of the control group was 71.80%,the total effective rate of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P< 0.05).Hirsutism condition: there was no significant change in the hirsutism score,and the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant(P >0.05).Acne condition: acne improved,but the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant(P >0.05).Conclusion:Tonifying Kidney and Activating Blood Circulation in combination with Yasmin can effectively improve the clinical symptoms and hormone levels of PCOS patients,and clinical evidence of TCM,LH,and E2,highlighting the advantages of combined Chinese and Western medicine treatment.
