Deep-penetrating geochemistry,which is mainly used to prospect concealed deposits,is an emerging branch of geochemistry.The loess covered area of China has a great potential for prospecting concealed deposits.In this paper,we choose Luoning Basin which was covered by loess as the research target.Based on deep-penetrating geochemistry theory,the research of total measurement of fine-grained soil,soil active state measurement,geogas and 1:50000 data thinning was taken.The following conclusions are drawn.1.The element anomalies in covering regolith layer have obvious inheritance relationship in different depth over ore body and present contents of elements are higher in top and bottom layers than those in the middle layer(formation a "C" shape distribution).The ore information can be directly obtained by using total measurement of fine-grained soil.2.Using the MML-Au(ferric sulfate and thiourea and sodium thiosulfate),MML-Cu(ammonium oxalate,ammonium citrate,sodium ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid(EDTA),diethyl triamine five acetic acid(DTPA)and amino acetic acid(NTA),triethanolamine(TEA))is effective for active state measurement.3.Through the research of total measurement of fine-grained soil and soil active state measurement we can know that two methods can effectively indicate the underlying polymetallic mineralization in the loess covered area.The measurement of soil active state further enhanced the indication of metallogenic related elements to the orebodies.The geogas measurement results show that it can can effectively indicate the underlying polymetallic mineralization in the loess covered area.4.Based on the 1:50000 scale data thinning,we can found that the abnormal distribution between data thinned to 1:100000 and 1:200000 scale and before,except the abnormal distribution has been reduced,it doesn't interfere with the discovery of regional anomalies.It is shown that the method used in this paper can effectively delineate the regional anomaly in the loess covered area and track the anomaly.At the same time,in the loess covered area,the scale can be expanded appropriately,the sampling workload can be reduced,and the regional anomaly also can be effectively delineated and tracked.
