With the vigorous development of the new energy vehicles,the market of motors for new energy vehicles is booming.Motor,electronic control unit and battery are important parts of the power system of new energy automobile,and their market prospects are very broad.However,the surge in cost has caused fierce competition.Therefore,how to improve the quality of the electric motors,improve the production efficiency and reduce the production cost of motors are problems faced by almost all automobile manufacturing enterprises and need to be solved urgently.Lean Six Sigma is an efficient and effective methodology to improve product quality.Considering the quality problems of stator housing's looseness or tightness,the assembly difficulties of rotor magnet steel and the stator inner surface's scratches,six sigma DMAIC roadmap is employed to figure out the reasons of the above quality problems with the help of some tools,such as fishbone diagram analysis,C and E matrix analysis,FMEA failure analysis method.Three factors of heating temperature,holding time and installation time are improved and optimized with design of experiment method.The quality problems of magnetic steel assembly and stator's inner scratch are also solved.The improvement project reduces the cost and improves the quality of products greatly.The final results are also documented and are hopefully to be maintained in the future.In addition,this thesis improves the problems of unreasonable layout of production site,crossing route and unclear zone,by using the systematic layout planning method(SLP).Results suggest that the rearranged division and layout with additional cantilever cranes and mobile vehicles,significantly improve the space utilization and reduce the repetition of the movement distance.At last,this thesis summarizes the practice experience in implementing lean six sigma DMAIC method and business process reengineer.It is our hope that other companies may benefit from such references.
