Research On The Information Collection And Processing Of Broadcast News Program Hosts In The Media Environment

Technology is continuously transforming the Internet.The Internet has been integrating the industry fields that were used to be relatively independent,and driving changes to the internal characteristics of these industry fields.The media environment changes dramatically,and the broadcasting industry is deeply affected.The Internet has been broadly used in the broadcasting industry,such as reshaping the news broadcasting production process.Based on the Author's thinking and observation,she puts forward the core research questions of the thesis: How has the process of information gathering,and processing of broadcast news program moderators in the media age changed? What are the characteristics? Finally,she attempts to construct a set of information behavior models for news broadcast program moderators suitable for the background of the media.The Author interviewed four industry news moderators on these core issues.The thesis is based on the Author's daily journalistic work experience,supplemented by the experience of interviewed guests,using qualitative research methods(participatory observation and interview methods),and combined with content analysis methods to analyze the information gathering and processing of the moderator.The thesis is taking Journalism and Communication as the theoretical basis,using the Information Behavior Model in interdisciplinary reference,and summarizing the trends of information collection and processing of broadcast news program.According to the Information Behavior Model,the Author divides the Information Collection and Processing of News Broadcast Program into five steps: Information Gathering,Information Verification,Information Processing,Information Dissemination and Information Feedback.After research,compared with the traditional media era,it is found that the Information Review and Information Feedback of broadcast news program are more prominent in the media age.In the context of the media,the increase in the amount of information and the proliferation of false news have increased the difficulty of information review for broadcast news program moderators.The widespread use of social media has led to an increase in the feedback to news broadcast program moderators.Finally,the Author constructs a set of Information Collection and Processing BehaviorModel based on the news broadcast program media background,and evaluates the succession of the Information Collection and Processing of the news broadcast program from the traditional media era to the media age: First,the source network and information collection channel has changed;Second,the fragmentation of the broadcast news information form has become the mainstream;Third,the information content has been closer to the public and root class views;Fourth,the information reverse transmission and feedback has been strengthened;Fifth,the role of moderator has shifted from information production to information aggregation;Sixth,"reverse news" has been frequently occurring,and information verification has become the key;Seventh,Information Collection and Processing behaviors have changed from a one-way linear mode to a circular mode.According to the above characteristics of “past to present”,the Author predicts the trend of Information Collection and Processing of the “current to future” news broadcast program for moderators in the three dimensions of Concept,System and Technology: First,the Concept,from the "transporter's stand" to the "audience stand",moderator's service awareness will be enhanced;Second,the System,there will be more balancing among the operating system,the management system,and the content review system of the radio and television media;Third,the technical aspects,artificial intelligence and news moderators will collaborate in Information Collection and Processing.
