Research On The Construction Of The Quality And Ability Model Of TV Show Hosts

The host is a special group in the TV station.They represent the TV station to meet the audience.They are the representatives of the TV transmission and the key to the TV station's social influence and confidence.In recent years,China's TV media industry is developing rapidly,Jilin TV station also in this environment rely on their own resources has been a qualitative leap,but compared to the overall development of Jilin TV station and the host team construction is relatively weak: first,occupation quality and comprehensive quality of the part of the host needs to be further improved;secondly,the evaluation system of occupation the quality of the host is not unified and scientific,affect the enthusiasm of the part of the host;at the same time,Ying De mechanism is missing a good host,which makes a part of excellent host development is limited or loss,directly restricts the development of television.The reason for the above phenomenon is that there is not a scientific evaluation system of the host's quality and ability in China's TV field.At present,there is no authoritative definition of competency model for the host competency model and related literature.Studying and constructing the competency model of the host is helpful for normalize the professional behavior of the host,improve the professional quality of the host,stimulate the enthusiasm and creativity of the host,and contribute to the construction of the host team and the healthy development of the TV station.This research mainly adopts the method of literature and questionnaire.Through collecting a large number of relevant documents and normative documents,we conduct a questionnaire survey and expert consultation for hosts,and collect a lot of competency elements.Then,the expert opinion method is used to conduct several rounds of screening of the competency factors.According to the iceberg model,the six dimensional competency model of Jilin TV host is put forward.An empirical study of the model construction was carried out through a large sample questionnaire.Data analysis and modeling were conducted by factor analysis.The content and structure of the model were tested.Reliability test and model validity test including aggregation validity,discrimination validity and surface validity were adopted.The final determination model is the four dimension competency model,including 18 competency indicators.The study of this competency model in recruitment,training,the appraisal and compensation management work are discussed,and the use of expert scoring method of the grading level of competence assessment,developed a simple host competence scale,to to improve the application of the model.
