Differences In Family Function Between Urban And Rural Areas And Their Influence On Children's Social Withdrawal

The social withdrawal of children refers to the behavior of children not interacting with others,playing games,and spending their time alone in social situations,including silent shyness,active withdrawal and passive withdrawal.As one of the important problems of internalized behavior,social withdrawal has great influence on children's physical and mental health development.Existing research shows that the parents of the family upbringing and parent-child relationship are closely related to children's social withdrawal,thus speculated that there are complex relations between the function of family and social withdrawal of children.This article focus on the urban and rural culture with Chinese characteristics,from jinan city,choose a kindergarten,a total of 612 rural children as subjects,using Li Rongfeng et al.,revision of the Chinese family function assessment scale measured the family function and using Ye Pingzhi revision of "teachers of children's social behavior questionnaire" measured young children's social withdrawal behaviors,inspecting the general characteristics of family function and children's social withdrawal and differences between urban and rural areas of family function and children's social withdrawal,revealing the different influences of urban and rural family function on children's social withdrawal,to provide reasonable proposal for children's social withdrawal.Research findings:(1)There was no significant interaction between the age of social withdrawal of urban children,the gender main-effect and gender and age;The age of social withdrawal of social withdrawal in rural children was significant,and the silence and shy scores of children aged 3 and 4 were significantly higher than that of children aged 5.The total score of active withdrawal and social withdrawal in the 3-year-olds was significantly higher than that in the 5-year-old group,and the total score of active withdrawal and social withdrawal was significantly higher in the 4-year-olds than in the 3-year-olds and 5-year-old groups.The passive withdrawal score of the 4-year-olds was significantly higher than that of the 5-year-old group.There was no significant interaction between the gender and age stage of social withdrawal in rural children.(2)There was no significant interaction between the primary effect of children's age,gender main-effect and gender and age in urban and rural families.(3)The silence and shyness scores of rural children were significantly higher than that of urban children;The score of urban family family rules was significantly higher than that of rural families,and the score of rural families was significantly lower than that of urban families.(4)There is no significant correlation between urban family function and social withdrawal of children;The emotional communication of rural families is negatively correlated with children's silence and shyness,and the emotional communication in rural family functions can significantly negatively predict the silence and shyness of children.(5)In the urban family function of gender and social withdrawal children relationship between regulation,the egoism of family function dimension can significantly positively predict the boy's shy,active to shrink and social total silence,the girl did not predict effect;The family rule dimension is significant enough to predict the girl's silence and shyness,which has no predictive effect on the boy.Gender does not regulate the relationship between rural family function and social withdrawal of children.
