Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Lumbar Intervertebral Disc Herniation By Electro-acupuncture With "six Lumbar Needles"

Purpose:Objective to evaluate the clinical efficacy of electro acupuncture “lumbar six needles” in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation,and objectively evaluate the efficacy and safety of electro acupuncture “lumbar six needles” in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation,and further optimize the acupuncture treatment plan for lumbar disc herniation.Material and method:70 patients(all patients from the second Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine)with lumbar disc herniation who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,35 cases in each group.The treatment group was treated with Electroacupuncture of “lumbar six needles” as the treatment scheme.The control group was treated with conventional acupuncture and electroacupuncture treatment,according to different syndrome type,the control group select the acupuncture points,all acupoints were needled by the affected side.the main points: Shenshu,Dachangshu,Weizhong,Ashixue.with acupuncture point: Cold dampness lumbago enlarged Yaoyangguan;Blood stasis enlarged Geshu,Ciliao;Kidney empty lumbago enlarged Dazhong;Merdian of Foot-TAI YANG lumbago enlarged the Zhibian,Chengshan and Kunlun;Merdian of Foot-SHAO YANG lumbago enlarged Huantiao,Yanglingquan,Xuanzhong,Qiuxu.The two groups were treated 1 times a day,5 times a week and continuous treatment for two weeks.In the two groups,the other conditions were the same except for the different points.Before and after treatment,the patients’ lumbago efficacy scale,short Mc Gill pain questionnaire,Oswestry disability index score scale and surface electromyography were used for SPSS 20.0 statistical analysis.The scores and surface electromyography values of the two groups were compared.Results:1.The total effective rate of the treatment group was 96.67%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 73.33%.After statistical analysis,it was found that the total effective rate of the two groups was statistically significant(P < 0.05).2.Group comparison: the two groups after the treatment of low back pain evaluation of curative effect,simple type Mc Gill score,Oswestry disability score was significantly lower than before treatment;surface EMG values of RMS 、MF values were higher than that before treatment,and the difference was significant,with statistical significance(P < 0.05).3.Comparison between groups: after treatment,the treatment group curative effect evaluation,lumbago simple type Mc Gill score and Oswestry dysfunction score were lower than the control group;the surface EMG detection value of RMS 、MF are all higher treatment group than in control group,and the difference was significant,with statistical significance(P <0.05).Conclusion:1.Electro acupuncture “lumbar six needles” can reduce the pain symptoms of the patients with lumbar intervertebral disc herniation,improve the single function and comprehensive function of the lumbar and paravertebral muscles,improve the psychological emotion of the patients and enhance the function of the lumbar muscles.2.Electro acupuncture “lumbar six needles” in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation have a good curative effect;3.Cupping “lumbar six needles” has the treatment of lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion patients with simple operation,less selected acupoints,easy to accept,etc,and a significant curative effect,worth clinical promotion and further in-depth study.
