China is implementing the strategy of innovation driven development,and innovation plays an increasingly important role in the engine of economic transformation.In essence,innovation is the process of knowledge creation,diffusion and utilization.In the innovation system,the way and type of knowledge creation,spillover,and utilization are the knowledge base.The knowledge base is different because of the different types of industry,which leads to the different essential process of innovation,and the industrial knowledge base has become a new perspective of academic research and innovation in recent years.In view of this,starting with the innovation characteristics of different knowledge base industries,this paper tries to explore the differential mechanism of multidimensional proximity to different knowledge based industry innovation,and study the multidimensional proximity effect of different knowledge base industries from different space layers,so as to explore different regions and different production.The proximity effect in the industry innovation plays a role.The article first combs the relevant research results at home and abroad,defines and distinguishes the basic connotation of different knowledge,and compares the differences in the process of innovation of different knowledge base industries.On this basis,it focuses on the knowledge base of the synthetic and analytical industries,and analyzes the differential mechanism of the innovation of different knowledge base industries with the influence of multidimensional proximity.Then,based on the synthetic and analytical knowledge base industry of 31 provinces and cities,based on the 2010-2015 year related data,the artificial neural network(ANN)and the least square(OLS)regression method are used to establish the model.The multi-dimensional proximity of the national level and the eastern,central and western regions of the three regions has different knowledge base.The foundation industry innovation has carried on the empirical analysis.Through the study,this paper draws the following conclusions: the empirical results of the national level show that the geographical proximity has an obvious positive effect on the semi inverted "U" effect on the innovation of synthetic knowledge base industry,and the effect intensity is significantly higher than the weak promotion effect of cognitive proximity;the geographical proximity has a shadow on the innovation of the basic industrialinnovation based on analytic knowledge base.The intensity of the inverted "U" pattern was significantly lower than that of the cognitive inverted "U" type.The empirical results of the three regions in the East,middle and West show that the geographical proximity effect is saturated in the innovation of the synthetic knowledge base industry in the eastern region,and the analytical knowledge base industry is overdue to the innovation,and the cognitive proximity has no significant influence on the synthetic knowledge base industry innovation.The effect of the "U" type on the innovation of the basic industry is obvious.In addition to the weak promotion of cognitive proximity in analytical knowledge based industry innovation,the impact of other proximity on industrial innovation is the "inverted" "U" type in the central region.The geographical proximity effect of the synthetic knowledge base industry in the western region needs to be brought into play,and the cognitive proximity effect of the analytical knowledge base industry needs to be played.Finally,the policy suggestions are put forward according to the empirical conclusions.
