Kaizen Application In Lean Management Of A Company

More and more manufacturing enterprises have realized the importance of improving the level of management and production efficiency as well as their core competence because of the increasingly competitive market.Deploying Kaizen to implement continuous improvement would be an effect action both at cost and performance.Take A company's workshop as the study object,the writer firstly describes the theory of Kaizen and continuous improvement,then analyze the current situation and main problems of workshop.After that,identifying two key enablers for successful continuous improvement: from hardware factor enablers,application of MES system to fully control the information flow and material flow would be helpful in optimizing production process,thus greatly improving the production management level and production efficiency;from software factor enablers,initiating the performance-appraising system of continuous improvement with clearly clarifying the target and specification of performance would be helpful in motivating staff,flourishing suggestions and formulating the culture of continuous improvement.This article attempts to show the successful implement of Kaizen in A company's workshop to indicate that lead management could be effectively and flexibly achieved through continuous improvement.It is hoped that the research of this paper can be a reference for similar enterprises in promoting the lean management through continuous improvement.
