In the media-oriented society,the regional image is an important basis for the external world to recognize and evaluate it.A good regional public image is conducive to the development of economy and social progress.As an important industrial and agricultural base in China,northeast China plays an important strategic role in safeguarding national defense security,food security,ecological security,energy security and industrial security.In September 2018,general secretary Xi Jinping visited the three northeastern provinces to comprehensively and systematically "check the pulse" of the revitalization of northeast China,marking that the revitalization of northeast China has entered a new period of comprehensive and all-round revitalization.Northeast China is the geographical center of northeast Asia,bringing together four top 11 economic entities in the world.With unique geographical advantages of comprehensive opening,it is an important node in the construction of " The Belt and Road Initiative" and an important gateway connecting the Eurasian continent,with great development potential.As a central province in northeast China,Jilin province has become a key and necessary topic to optimize and spread the image of Jilin province by using media,to better guide the audience's cognition by media,and to improve the overall popularity and reputation of Jilin province,so as to promote and promote the overall development of Jilin province.This study focuses on comparative research,using the Literature Research and Delphi Method to establish a basic model for evaluating regional image,selects the indicators.Using the Quartile Method and the Mean Method to screen and test all indicators.Furthermore,the AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process)was used to analyze the hierarchical structure of the scale indicators influencing the image of the city,and the indicator weights were obtained.Through the five principles of Jilin Province'spolitics,economy,culture,environment and society,and several times to quantify the media image and public image of Jilin Province,collect their data for comparison and analysis.By comparing the media image of Jilin Province with the public perception,this paper finds that at this stage of the public image of Jilin Province,there are problems such as overly positive tone of media reports,imbalanced reporting issues,and imperfect communication mechanisms.In response to these problems,some image resolution strategies are attempted.For state media,the local ministry should actively provide news clues in Jilin Province to ensure its content is objective and rich.For local media,it is necessary to actively plan the news content of Jilin Province and better provide materials for media in other provinces.For the new media platform,it is necessary to spread the image of Jilin Province with more lively characteristics and pay attention to the collection of audience feedback.Finally,the author uses the form of media fusion to realize the timely release of authoritative information and spread the real and three-dimensional image of Jilin Province.The research in this article is helpful to construct a more perfect image communication strategy of Jilin Province,and has an irreplaceable role in explaining the image problem of Jilin Province and promoting the development of Jilin Province.Improving the image of Jilin Province is a long-term and systematic project.It requires not only the skills and efforts of communicators,but also the participation of the government,the media,and the public in order to create and disseminate a more complete image of Jilin Province.
